All good points and they did look good against the Colts. Except for one thing, they had a chance to win and couldn't make it happen. The Colts showed why they are who they are. They stay at home on defense. They keep the play in front of them. On the flip side the Texans have got to start acting like a legit threat, not an expansion team.

the colts had no D in the 2nd half schaub was moving the ball easly and the reason the colts won was because the texans K missed the feild goal to send the game in to over time and who ever would have got the ball in O.T. would have won

and the colts had so many opportunities to put the game away but the texans D held them to FG's

the texans will play better the 2nd time around nxt time they play in about 3 weeks

That is what I mean by stay at home and keep the play in front of you.

The Texans looked good, no doubt, but they made mistakes. 10 penalties for over 100 yards. But that was not there biggest problem. How many times you gonna line up a linebacker against Dallas Clark. Then even after you get burned multiple times they do it again. Peyton is too good to pull that sh!t on him, he will burn you every time. I like what Kubiak is doing, I am from Texas, I wanna see them do well. But C'mon bring in a nickelback and try to do something against that sh!t.

I think the pats will play the colts tougher the houston cuz we are better then houston on both sides of the ball. Watch brandon mcgowan, he's been hitting everyone hard and I hope wayne doesn't dive to the floor on just one play and takes a hit from either mcgowan or meriweather. Haha I kinda don't like reggie wayne. Maroney has been running hard and benjamin watson has stayed healthy and came up with big catches up the seam when we are struggling on offence. I think watson will have a big day and dallas clark will be held in check. Pats will win it in the 4th qtr.

As far as ur top "verticle TEs" ill have to think about it and post it in a little bit. Ill think while I work out and post it in a little bit but VD will not be #1 just cuz u said he has to be. Haha

yo those are some good TE's but dallas clark is the only one who is known for vertical plays down the feild

witten and gonzo can be vertical but they arn't known for that they are known for those underneath slants and short cross routes

and there are more TE's that can make vertical plays down the feild. like about 6 or 7 of them u only had 3! lol

and it's not about a TE that can jump it's about TE's that make alot of plays down the feild like wr's do!

In the vertical offense it is the TE's job to attack the space left open in the middle of the field by the WR pulling coverage. In this context it would not matter whether the TE ran slants, hooks, seams etc. It is simply a matter of an air attack or passing game.

That being the definition here is my new revised listing

Ummm didn't I just tell u I put no thought into this while uve been thinking about it for a few days now? And I missed one downfield TE and u call me crazy. OD doesn't count right now cuz he's injured. That's like asking who was the best qb last year and saying brady is on the list. OD is hurt which means he's eliminated from any and every list. Right now not only is he not on the best vertical te list but he won't be on the best te list either cuz he's at home doing the same thing we are doing, watching sportscenter 5 times every night.

i know ya'll been waiting for this for a while now and just been dying to see my list so here it is

#1vernon davis (not only is he the best vertical TE but he's also the fastest and the biggest nobody can cover him he's the best in the red zone)

#2dallas clark (he's practically a wr at the TE position and he's got manning to throw him the ball)

#3 Owen Daniels (he's always open and it seem when the ball is thrown to him it's about 20+yrds down the feild it was amazin watching him the 1st 7 games of the season and even the game against the bills when he got hurt the play right before that he caught a 22 yrd pass on a 3rd and long what a beast)

#4 kellen winslow (out of all the TE in the league he's probably the only one that makes the most spectacular catches all over the feild and he's very good on those deep cross routes)

#5 (antonio gates his best route is the streak just send him up the middle and watch him jump up like larry fitzgerald and make an unbelievable catch in traffic and he has phillip rivers throwing him the ball)

#6 chris cooley (he can make plays down the feild and is considered a deep threat)

#7 jeremy shockey (giants gotta be sick for letting him go and trying to replace him with a piece of sh*t he so underrated and brees knows how good he is down the feild and make sure every giants fan see's it)
