top 10 TE'S in the league

Vernon davis has been such a disapointment but singletary lit a fire under his ass last year when he sent him to the locker room.. This could be the year he realizes his potential..

Vernon Davis did turn it on the end of last season. Maybe he'll benefit from a West Coast style quarterback in Shaun Hill and Mike Singletary staying on his ass about everything. I hope he does better this year. He came in the league with so much hype, but he's played nothing like a #5 pick at all.

Yea everyone gives former miami TEs so much respect but the last few haven't been very good in the NFL cuz they are so full of themselves..(Shockey, davis, winslow) so much talent but they think they are so great out of college they don't have to perform after.. Its annoying..

Yeah, you're right. But wasn't Vernon Davis a former Maryland tight end? I thought he was.

The only Miami tight end not to be a cocky bastard is Greg Olsen.

5. Chris Cooley (doesn't get the respect he deserves.. 734, 786, 849 those are his yards by year the past 3 years, pretty damn good for a TE)
6. Owen Daniels (only a 3rd year man and already a cornerstone of an underrated offence in houston!)
7. Visanthe Shiancoe (ready to have a killer season with favre after putting up 600 yds and 7 tds with his old qbs)
8. Dustin Keller (535 yds and 3tds with favre last year.. Now he has rookie mark sanchez and rookies always lean on their TEs)
9. Greg Olsen ( 39 to 54, 391 to 574, 2 to 5, that's greg olsen growing from year one to year two and now he has a REAL QB)
10. Anthony Fasano (being held down by jason witten is what he did best til he got to miami last year! Went from 13 rec to 34 and went from 143 yards to 454 and went from one td to 7.. Also had his avg yards per catch go from 10.2 to 13.4... He's ready to be top 10 this year!!!)

BO....how could you leave my boy Todd Heap off of your list bruh?

Sorry mili.. He's just not top 10 anymore.. He still blocks real well and catches pretty good but he's not the go to guy anymore.. He may be ahead of fasano at #10on my list but I think fasano takes it to another level this year.. This is by no means a list of the past, its a list of what I believe is gona be the top 10 come the end of the 09 season..

Because Todd Heap fell off the last two seasons...injured in 2007 and only 35 catches in 2008. I think he's not as good as Ravens fans say he is.

Anthony Fasano will have a big year in Miami, that's for sure...

im in texas and all my friends are cowboys fans im like the only texans fan but outta the big name TE'S we got down here are jason witten and owen daniels who will have the better numbers witten was number1 on his team with receptions (81) and with no t.o. he should have bigger numbers now that he really is the go to guy (no dissrespect 2 williams) but damn 81 receptions think without t.o. his numbers are gonna be BAZONKADOODLES lol. but what about daniels he was second on his team in rec (70) and now with a chip on his shoulders cuz the texans didnt give him an exstintion deal (im pissed about that btw) now hes gonna have to go out there and prove something that he doesnt need to so i think his numbers will be simular to jason's numbers last season and he should be more involved in the red zone and get more td's witch i think they'll do! hes to good not to give an exstintion 6yrs and 900 million or what ever lol hes gonna be more exsplosive than last season so look out for this dude. do ya'll think he'll put up big numbers and how big of a season will witten have

Owen Daniels was the truth at Wisconsin (he gave Michigan fits every time we played them), and I knew if he went to the right team, he'd blow up.

That's the thing, everyone talks about Tony G, Gates or Witten, but no one really talks about Owen Daniels. He can block and catch anything!

I hope owen daniels stays about the same this year cuz I don't have him in any fantasy leagues.. Haha and I have kevin walter in 2 so I'm hoping for big things from him.. Even if he puts up 900 yds and 8tds like he did last year I will be happy but I think owen will be taking some red zone looks away from walter.. I expect owen to score more then he has in the past.. As for witten, I still have him as a top 3 TE.. I don't think he's gona blow up just cuz TO is gone, I think romo opens his eyes and sees there is more people on the field then one wr and a TE.. I think roy, bennett, and austin will pick up some of the slack TO left behind and felix is gona catch a lot of balls out of the backfield.. I think witten is around the same as last year..

first super mario gaines is on the bears not the lions. n here is my list

1.Antonio gates(when healthy he produces even when hurt he produces hes just nasty lol)
2.Tony g(best TE in football. hes num 2 cause i like gates more lol)
3.Dallas Clark(so reliable he is a target in the redzone n mannings safety blanket.
4.Jason witten( he makes romo look so much better than he is. the guy runs excellent routes.)
5.chris cooley(past 3 yrs his yards just keep gong up. more tds n hes higher on the list.)
6.Owen daniels(double andre n u have trouble on your hands period.)
7.Kellen winslow( explosive TE n great leaping ability. injuries have slowed his production.
8.Greg olsen(yardage n tds keep increasing. now hes the number in front of desmond n has cutler as a qb enough said)
9.john carslon(might b in for a real big yr now dat matt is healthy n TJ is their to take attention away)
10.Jeremy shockey willl have an excellent yr now that his backup is hurt n brees wants to look for him more expect big numbers.

Other notables. Heath Miller, Zach Miller,Vishante shancoe, Jermichael finley,Dustin Keller, Ben Watson and Kevin boss.

Decent list, that's for sure.

did u know walter is hurt he may not play this sunday sh*t he may not play 2-3 weeks damn but thats kinda of good though in a way that makes hou offence a little more exsplosive with a guy like davis comeing in lol (more speed and about the same type of catching ability) and he's also a down feild threat along with andre we got two down feild guys gonna be interesting to watch (rubbing my hands together)

Did you know my boys drafted Ken Walter in the 5th (or 7th) round in the 2001 draft? I wish we kept him..him and Jurevicius.

jurevicious is one of the most underated wr's in the nfl. he produces every year and he gets no love

He's a free agent, that's what I don't get.

he could be a really good slot option. i mean he's always been a 2nd best reciever. him and brian finneran are both good wr's that play back-up

jerivicious is a good spectacular catch receiver when he played with these teams bucs,browns, he was incredible but he got hurt in clevland and they let him go

Keller... I like the jets defence a lot this year, they were really good last year and now they got rex ryan and have improved even more... I think owen will do ok but I think keller will have a big game being a rookie QBs checkdown man vs a below avg defence... Dunta robinson barely came n to camp a few days ago so I expect him to not start and if he does he will be a little sluggish...
