This is vernon davis's first season actually getting the ball thrown to him his entire nfl career he's been known to block not really receiving. i heard several commentators say that vernon is the best blocking TE in the last couple of seasons. no other TE can block as good as him.

commentators know what they are talking about (they have all the stats and information)

Once again, you prove that you can't formulate an opinion on your own. "_____ is the best because some commentators say so." is not a valid argument. If you want people to respect what you have to say, you have to come up with better than that. I can make almost any point I want and I guarantee you there will be a commentator somewhere who has said the same, that doesn't make it right. Commentators are not as all-knowing as you think. I mean, seriously, I have a better record on my NFL pick 'em league on Yahoo! than all of the experts. They don't know everything.
