They get Taylor Mays to go along with that front 7 they have. Yea there CB's aren't marquee but i could deal with Clements and Spencer. Big and strong and can still run.

I still think the jets have them edged out as the best defensive team as well as Baltimore and maybe some other teams depending on how the game plays

Baltimore Cb's have the speed and overall rating but it seems like they RARELy make a play on the ball. Jets i still put up there, but only because of Revis. There front 7 is pretty average. Dallas has a better front 7 than NYJ and maybe even a better Secondary

man, if the steelers could just get even one mediocore cornerback, they would be the best defensive team.... gay just sucks and you cant use man coverage because hes a liability... if htey replaced him, pitt has the best D..

Secondary isn't just 2 cb's. Cowboys secondary and front 7 is better then the Jets, Madden wise.

yea, and hte steelers front 7 is the best in the game.. imo...

Jets have Jenkins and Ellis. Jenkins tops out at 90+ with amazing BKS and Power Move, and Ellis has good power moves too. Not to mention that if you move Ellis to DT in a 46 and put Gholston on the line, Ellis goes to a 90+ and Gholston gets an 80+. Next year they'll have Jason Taylor too, who will most likely have a finesse rating above 88. If you play a 4-3 you now have 2 guys with power moves who are close to 90+ if not 90+ and Taylor on the outside along with those amazing LB's.

Scott and Harris topped off the '10 year with 90+ overalls, so most likely they'll stay at that 88-93 rating for both of em. That's amazing if you're playing nickel with the DB they picked up in the draft with 88 man and 90 press, ALONG with Cro and Revis. Rhodes got upgraded at the end of the Madden season, so he'll top out in the high 80's. Leonhard also got upgraded, so he'll be mid to high 80's. Pace will also have 80+ ratings. Thomas may be the only one who isn't in the 80's, but you can drop him to DE and move Taylor to LB and BAM. You now have an automatic defense.

I still like Dallas more. Cromar is faster but Patkins is crazy man. Cowboys have a lot of speed, but i'm wrong about the secondary. Cromar, Revis and Wilson seems to be solid, Leonard just blows, a 4-4 would be better for the Jets with Taylor, Goldston, Harris and Scott for your backers. Cowboys have more LB depth which means they can run a 4-4, Goal Line, 4-6 and more. It's lets have 6 or 7 backers on the field if you want. Jets don't have 6 or7 good backers. Also, The Cowboys DE's and DT's are better than the Jets as well. Hence me saying there front 7 is better.

Jets 46:

DT: Jenkins and Ellis
DE: Taylor and Gholston
LBs: Harris, Scott, and Pace
CB's: Revis and Cro or Wilson
FS: Wilson or Cro
SS:Leonhard

Regardless of how you move the players around, they still have talent at every position. In a 3-4, the Jets pretty much beat out every team.

they'll have a nice defense in madden but i think the jets offensively have more to work with and i think the jets D is just as good as the niners in "madden".

yeah bc in real life that jets D is going to be hands down the best.. they may push that 2000 ravens team as best defense of the past 10-15 years

The same way everyone want's to rag on newman! for the boy's as a weak corner,he get's toast alot,you can say the same thing for Cro' one good year,then after that, had all them babie's now he can't cover no more.Last two year's do i need to say more! Newman's problem he don't press on the double move's or cover 2. we can fix that.

Raiders should have the 2nd best d on the game. They have plenty of linebackers and still have a fast secondary.
