| How has gates been falling wayne? I believe he leads the league or is 2nd to clark in receiving yards by a TE.. And he played through a bunch of injuries last year and still finished as a top 3 TE with 700+ yards and 8 TDs... People keep saying gates is falling but he played through injuries last year and this year his lowest yard total has been 62 yards... There's no reason to say gates is falling just because 60 yards isn't a great game for him just cuz his standards are higher then most TEs.. If any other TE like carlson or daniels or fasano was putting up 60+ yards every game, u would be saying he's taken the next step and should be a top 5 TE... Gates is as good as ever and is at least top 3.. | |

| I think Owen daniels is atleast better than cooley. He had the 2nd most recieving yards in afc last season. | |

| Dallas Clark. Top 5 in receiving. He can block, catch, s*** u can jus throw him out in the slot and its alllll good. Has good play recogntion, Peyton helps wit that too lol, But my next vote would prolly go to Owen Daniels jus cuz Texans dont have mad good receivers. They have the best receiver in the league but then a few average receivers. Thats why Owen is big in the O. If its not Andre, then its Owen. Correct me if im wrong mario. lol | |

| yeah your wrong about "Texans dont have mad good receivers" yeah they do all their wr's are good all 5 of them other than andre and daniels kevin walter, andre davis, david anderson, jacoby jones, and out those names there was two down feild wr's (davis and jones)
out of all the 1&2 wr's in the nfl like fitzgerald and boldin did you know that johnson and kevin walter have the most yards combined in the last couple of seasons
and in the early 07 season when andre johnson got hurt and was out for the season andre davis had to step up and become the texans down feild threat and was pretty good and helped the texans get their first good record 8-8 with out andre johnson and their coach (gary kubiak) said "we are very blessed to have him he's actually a #1 wr but we keep him in the slot & as a back up incase walter or johnson get's hurt we know we can rely on davis to come in and make some big plays down the feild for us so were very lucky to have him"
and jacoby jones is one of the best pr in the game and as a wr he's a good down feild wr in his rookie season he played so good that he was being mentioned as passably johnson's coplament receiver and had a huge game against the titans in week two just recently and had a td in that game with a couple of receptions
and david anderson is a good possesion receiver he makes good catches and get's hit hard but still can hold on to the ball and is great after the catch and is someone schaub can rely on just recently in week three when the texans lost to the jags because chris brown fumbled the ball at the goal line right before that anderson mad a great catch in traffic to set that play up and got hit hard and even in the game against the raiders in week 4 he made a good catch to get a 1st down when they needed one and got hit hard and still made a good play and a good catch
lol they are packed with wr's why did you think they didn't have good wideout's they have one of the best offences in the leauge

| I jus dont think that Jacoby Jones and David Anderson are goood receivers. Jacoby is a mad good put returner and has amazing speed. I forgot bout Andre Davis, wasnt he hurt this year? At the beginning? And i jus dont hear alot about Kevin Walters. I dont watch alot of Texans games unless its against the Colts. But i did overlook Kevin Walters, i forgot bout him. I jus think Andre and Owen are the only consistent receivers they have. But once again i dont watch the Texans alot, and thats jus my opinion. | |

| i think it has to do with the QB, too. i don't think anyone will argue that drew brees is the best QB in the league and that matt schaub is a middle-of-the-road starter. if the texans had a brees, manning, brady, or possibly rivers, they would be winning the AFC South. | |

| Even though Brees is a Purdue grad and i love Purdue, i think Peyton is better then Brees. | |

| The texans do have good but I don't think andre davis is that great.. Just cuz kubiak says he is a #1 doesn't mean he is.. The texans struggled without walter in the first 2 games.. Kubiak isn't gona say davis is our #3 and he's a good #3 and that's all he will ever be.. Of cource he is gona try to give his young speedy wr some confidence.. Davis isn't that good though.. He's a decent #3.. Walter is a great #2 and dre is one of if not the best wr in the league.. Daniels is probably a top 5 TE now, so yea the houston offence is explosive but to say davis is great just cuz the coach says he is doesn't mean he actually is that great.. Not to mention slaton is pretty damn good catching the ball out of the backfield.. I would say that the texans do have as many quality weapons as the saints have.. Texans would be a damn good team if their defence had a pulse! | |

| yeah we prabably would be winning the afc south if we had a better D
and the texans did struggle in the 1st game of the season but the 2nd they didn't struggle without walter jacoby jones did really good in that game with a couple of receptions and a td and everything he caught he was wide open so how did they struggle in the 2nd game their offence was beast the only thing that struggled in that game was their D
and davis prabably ain't that good imo but he's a good kr check him out on youtube dude's a beast and the raiders didn't want to kick to him they just did that swibble kick on every kick off in week 4 but as a wr from what i've seen him do in 07 was pretty incredible he's a guy thats a good back up
and when it comes to RB's as wr's i would prabably say slaton is one of the best right under reggie bush

| so you see schaub is the right QB for this offence he's playing the best football of his career and could go to the pro bowl if he stays healthy | |

| Gates Tony G Witten Clark Cooley(if u argue this Cooley had 13 more catches than Owen and actually only 17 yards less) Winslow(when healthy) Shockey Zach Miller (no QB no wr to take any coverage and he still put up some good TE numbers) Heap <----- him and owen can go in either order Owen( he has andre johnson to take coverage)
note worthy.... carlson that seahawks TE, watson the pats te... brady spreads it but he is a good weapon, heath miller, olsen (hasnt shown enough) and davis (he also hasnt proven)

| good arguement just look at these stats from this season and owen daniels is more of a big time playmaker than cooley
owen daniels vs chris cooley
owen daniels receptions 17 rec yards 202 rec average 11.9 longest rec 44 rec td's 2 rec 1st downs 12 rec % for 1st downs 70.6 rec of 20 + yards 4 rec of 40 + yards 1 total td's 2 total points 12 fumbles 0
chris cooley receptions 22 rec yards 254 rec average 11.5 longest rec 18 rec td's 2 rec 1st downs 15 rec % for 1st downs 68.2 rec of 20 + yards 0 rec of 40 + yards 0 total td's 2 total points 12 fumbles 1

| so you see when it comes to short receptions both TE's are about the same but when it comes to plays that really count like getting 1st downs and bigger plays down the feild daniels is more of a bigger play maker than cooley
cooley is good with those short passes and daniels is more of the down the feild TE and the reason he don't have more rec and yards is because the ball get's thrown more to andre johnson lol
and with all that being said both TE's are beast

| ok but i can argue that the redskins offense is struggling in general tho and cooley gets his yards on a struggling O | |
