ACC TALK

landry jones isn't that bad of a QB. of course he's no bradford, but he did throw for 6 tds in a game (even if it was against a sorry team), something bradford has never done. don't take oklahoma for granted, they are still pretty good

I know oklahoma is still good but if miami is where I think they are and the media has been saying they are then they should be able to beat this oklahoma team pretty handily.. I don't know if we will but if miami is as good as hyped and as good as I been talking about then they need to bounce back big time and win this game by 2 tds.. I'm not even sure if we win this game but with bradford out its time to make a statement against oklahoma or maybe its just that FSU and GT really aren't very good teams.. I just feel this week is where we find out where exactly miami is at as a football team..

Georgia Tech is a good team. That was there 3rd game in 12 days. Miami stopped the run and Nesbitt wasnt throwing as good. We started to add more passes to our gameplan and Nesbitt looked great this week.

Yea that's true crunk and I believe miami had 2 weeks to prepare for GT.. I've already forgot for sure but I believe we beat fsu on a monday then had a bye week to prepare for GTs triple option..

i saw that other post BO. i just knew that my Hokies would silence all of that earlier B.S. talking about your Canes. listen....the road to the ACC Championship game runs through the VIRGINIA TECH HOKIES...not any other ACC team...bottom line! sure, Miami, GT and Boston College are decent teams....but....VT is on another level. think about it:

Miami's 1st two games were "in-conference" games (GT and FSU) and GT's 2nd, 3rd & 4th game were also in-conference as well (Clemson, Miami and then UNC). all that time...VT was playing "out-of conference" teams (Alabama, Marshall and Nebraska).

my point? Miami and GT (for example) had not faced the defending ACC Champions (VT Hokies) yet! and the nation was ready to crown Miami as the team to beat in the ACC? complete Bull&*%$! lol! now...once Virginia Tech started playing "in-conference" games (Miami, Duke (who put up a fight), Boston College and GT on Saturday)....it was a whole different ball game! cause now....you are facing the ACC Champions!

I feel u mili, but one losdoesnt mean count miami out. One slip up by VT and miami is back in the ACC chase. But ur hokies are in the drivers seat right now. I think everyone is starting to realize miami doesn't have a good D, we are fast but the only real good player we have I believe is Brendan Harris. Usually in conference games are tougher but u guys have a tough ass non conference schedule u already ran through. Miami still has 2 tough tests but we should win both when we go to south florida and to NC. If VT doesn't slip up u guys will be palying for the national championship I believe. Ur gona need texas to lose though and it could be VT vs the SEC champs, either florida or Bama. No one in the atlantic acc can beat u guys in the ACC championship so I do believe u guys will be playing for the title come january. But I remain hopeful that someone catches u guys off guard in conference and gets miami back in the race.

bo...i am definately not counting out Miami or GT bruh. you are right! alot of cats are waiting for VT to slip up so they can get a nod at advancing in the rankings. hopefully, we will get passed GT's flexbone offense tomorrow to keep pushing forward to that ACC Championship game. my boys are playing some great... "Beamer Ball" right now!

P.S. since you never said anything about the pics that i sent you in a PM....i thought that i would remind you and your Canes of a horrific event that took place for them a few weeks ago.....

yeah...GT has helped alot of teams to have hope with that win. but....my Hokies are not dead....not by a long shot! that was their 1st lost within the ACC and they have a bye week to reflect on that loss and thing that they need to work on. UNC is next and i expect VT to come out in the second half of the season playing pure "Beamer Ball" and taking no prisoners!

Do u know how the tiebreaker would work if VT, GT, and Miami all went with only one loss in conference? Miami has the head to head win against GT, GT over VT, and VT over Miami.. If its a 3 way tie at the end, how do they determine who will play in the ACC championship against the atlantic winner?

i think i heard this on college fb live but im not too sure...

but they were talkin bout the higher seed would go if it was a 3 way tie but if one of the 3 teams tied was within 5 spots of the highest seeded team then it would be a draw and determined by a coin flip or something to that extent

but i think GT and VT will lose once this season and miami runs the table so that means miami vs......well GT if they run the table but lose a game

None of the 3 will play each other again unless its in a bowl game. They are all in the coastal division, one of them will play a team from the atlantic division for the ACC championship. 2 of the best 3 teams in the ACC won't even have a chance cuz they are all in the same division. Still a ways away and some tough games to play for all 3 teams so we will see how it turns out. LET'S GO CANES!

i am worried about the U vs clemson....clemson as of late has looked nice with cj spiller and that tuff defense....

as of now clemson are only a 5 point dog....

We have UVA, Duke, and Wake left... I dont see a loss coming. We havent won at UVA in forever, but this is our season. We screwed it up last... not again my friend. Jacory is bout to meet Da'Quan Bowers and Ricky Sapp.

I'm not just worried about clemson, I'm worried about going to UNC and going to USF in 2 of our last 3 games. I think we will have some close games to tough out. We can definately run the rest of our schedule but there's some tough games still and we gota stay focused and not look ahead to anyone or clemson this week or unc in 2 weeks will beat us. I've been talkin so much s*** on GT this year and with their win vs VT they are lined up to win the ACC if miami does slip up against UNC. That would make me feel stupid! Haha

UNC just lost to FSU in a terrible way during a 2nd half meltdown.....im not worried bout em

USF is a solid team but with a frosh QB who looked mistake prone vs cincy and will prolly do bad vs pitt but we shall see......

clemson is the strongest opponent of the 3 IMO

well i honestly cant see VT fallin off i mean they are by far the best team in the acc, GT is good but there is no way GT could hang with Bama, no way.

Whats ghey is GT can go 11-1 and still not win the ACC.

We can easily stick with Bama. They run the ball and we stop the run well. We suck at pass d, but have been doing a lot better over the past 2 weeks.

GT 7-1 suck it.

ACC is ours again. If we lose to Wake or Duke I'm going to be SUPER pissed.

what a huge dissapointment miami losing to clemson was....

now i can only hope miami runs the table and GT somehow loses to wake or duke...
