I wouldn't be surprised first off! The way his year has turned out so far I think we are goin on a huge spending spree this offseason.. Secondly the yanks would s*** their pants knowing our rotation to be beckett, lester, grienke, and buchholz.. And even how long is wakefield gona pitch cuz he kills the yanks most the time.. I would be happy, I love pitching and I never think we have enough! We had 7 viable starters in july when penny was pitching well still and I said let's trade penny, buchholz, bowden, and bard for halladay! I want more pitching all the time, its what wins championships!

yea, but having a good batting order is important as well. the sox should pick up another big bat in the offseason. i was thinking Vlad but im hoping not though, we need him. or mabey prince?

Prince isn't goin anywhere and vlad really is getting old.. We will pick up a bat in the outfield for sure cuz I believe we are gona let jason bay walk and we will be looking for a corner infieldeer as well.. Lowell is hurt too often I believe we will open up trade talks with SD again for adrian gonzalez and if we could pry him away from SD we would move youk to 3rd base..I don't know what the market is for anything in the off season yet cuz I'm just into what's happening right now so I couldn't even make an educated guess on what we plan on doing to fill the holes we are gona have in left field and 1st or 3rd base.. And honestly I could care less right now, we gota worry about this year before next.. But I don't think vlad is an option cuz he's old and swings at everything, that's not a theo kind of player and prince isn't goin anywhere plain and simple..

you never know. he might get tired of not making the post season, and carying the brew crew.

He's too young to demand a trade and he hasn't expressed any ill will towards the brewers.. Its not gona happen, that's a fantasy, haha u should let that thought go...

Haha I think papi is close to being replaced too.. Just cuz we love him so much he's gona get to be safe next year but he's running out of gas.. Although he's having a terrible year and he's probably gona hit 30 hrs and drive in 100.. That speaks for what kind of hitter he is.. He's getting old tho and next year I could definately see him dropping to 25 hrs 80 rbi and then who knows in 2011.. I think legitametly he's got one more year as full time DH and then its time to replace him or at least get someone else to split DH duties with him.. But prince will NEVER be a red sox player! I'm gona start researching to see who is gona be outfield and corner infield free agents this coming off season.. U got me wondering what we are gona do to shore up our lineup.. We might even keep lowell for one more year! When he's healthy he's still an rbi machine! His hip has really brought his D down to mediocrity when he's used to being a gold glove 3rd baseman.

Angels are close to dealing two minor leaguers to the rays for scott kazmir.. Looks like they aren't satisfied with what they have yet.. As they shouldn't be.. Kazmir hasn't pitched well this year but maybe he will in a new city.. I think its smart to take a chance on him if ur the angels...

yea, i think its a good move i mean the angels have a good batting order, but the only thing that the angels need to make that next step forward is a good bullpen. kazmir will only improve the pitching so im hoping that when he gets to the angels, we get him in the order as soon as possible and get him dealing.

kazmir was a great pickup for la. this should really help their pitching. as for tampa bay. looks like they gave up their chances sending kazmir away. but idk. they still have good pitching

Well kazmir has pitched well his last 2 or 3 starts but he's been so inconsistant this year.. I don't think TB just gave up on the playoffs, they were cutting payroll for next year by sending someone who's gona make 9million when his era is almost 6.. LA can afford to eat that money and take the chance to improve their pitching.. It was a real good move for both teams... And the sox are rollin, just like I said they would.. 5-1 since I said we were gona go on a run..

yea tampa bay has some great arms. and la has great offense. i think la knocks out the yanks

LA is gona have to deal with boston first and they have problems dealing with the sox in october.

I'm a moron? U should check what the rules are. Its best record, the yanks vs the worst record of the remaining division winners... Yanks vs the central winner and the angels get the wildcard team.. If the rangers won the wildcard the yanks get them but if the wildcard is boston or TB they have to play the worst record out of the division winners which will be the central winner.. Now I could call u names like u are calling me but proving u wrong is much more fun!! Before u go calling people morons u should get ur facts straight.. Go learn baseball and then come talk to me!!

Yea cuz texas is playing great baseball right now! All the texas bandwagoners need to jump off the bandwagon.. We got our rotation set up to pull away from TB in this upcoming series and texas is playing below .500 baseball over the past 2 and a half weeks.. Time to pull away with the wildcard now!

yea, i dont know what your smokin dude but the red sox have beat the angels in the postseason for the past 3 years. boston will NOT miss the postseason, thier bullpen is too stacked. they're getting hot at the right time. texas has just hit a lucky streak now. there is no way they overtake the sox. plus even if by some miracle of god they make the postseason they wont get far. their bullpen is god awful. if hammilton wants a championship, he needs to jump ship and head either to the sox or the angels they both have the money for it so he would be great addititon to either line up

s***, give the sox josh hamilton, I would be stoked! Won't happen tho, I don't know his contract status but I haven't heard he's gona be a free agent so I doubt its up this year.. Texas won't be trading him cuz they have some really good young pitching that has them set to make a run at the al west next year.. I don't think texas is a bad team I just think the sox are better.. The red sox go in a month and a half or two month stretch every year where they play .500 ball and everyone likes to panic except red sox themselves.. The panic should be out of the media and they need to realize its just normal red sox season stuff goin on.. Now we are back and people are hesitant to admit it cuz they hate us or they have their team involved in the wildcard race... The way the sox are playing it may be more realistic for texas to catch LA for the west..

I don't think they will catch LA either its just the way teams are playing right now that might be the rangers best chance of getting in.. The sox have hit stride and are pitching well, hitting well, playing great D, coming up big in clutch situations of games.. I just think the sox are ready to prove they are back to playing like they were pre all-star break... I think the way the playoffs look right now is exactly how it turns out in the AL.. Sox vs angels and tigers vs yanks in the first round.. Suddenly with the SF sweep of colorado the NL wild card race has become a hell ova lot more interesting the anything going on in the AL..

i know right? a week ago everyone was on the rockies jock and now that they get swept by SF now everyone has stopped talking about them. the rockies are done put a fork in them. the giants will make the postseason and lincecum will pitch out of his mind. but i cant see them making past the frist round

The giants are so nasty when they are pitching well! Lincecum and cain are battling eachother for the cy young, zito is nasty if he gets that hook working at the beginning of his games... I don't think the rockies are done by any stretch of the imagination but they have made it a lot tougher then I thought it would be a week ago... I would be scared to play the giants in october! When u throw lincecum, cain, zito in a best of 5 series, u can upset a lot of teams... If they make the playoffs, watch out for the giants!

yea,lets not forget the unit is set to comeback soon if he is on fire in october, the giants will challenge for a championship.
