all the players being released though have grown on me so its hard to see them go especially andrews, doode is funny!!! witherspoon not so much cuz he wasnt on the team for that long, but it is a business so its all understandable and the money saved is deffinetly a plus!

Shawn Andrews will always be rememebered for not what he did accomplish but what he didnt accomplish. Im sorry Andy Reid gave him every chance in the world to be successful an the team was around when he was suffering from "depression" even brought in his brother its sad very sad he had so much potential. Curtis was getting old anyways we didnt need Howard plus we signend Tapp for 3 years. Witherspoon is a easy replacement. Westbrook was a risk even though he had good years the offense didn't revolve around him anymore. It's a buisness sadly but undeniably the Eagles have made smart moves another reason why there keeping Mcnabb is because looked what happend when Dawkins left everyone missed him and the untangibles that couldnt be taught to a person was gone.

the eagles trade CB sheldon brown & LB/DE chris gocong to the cleveland browns for linebacker alex hall and two draft picks in the 4th & 5th rounds.
im gonna miss sheldon! he's a beast! IMO the hardest hitting corner in the game today! but general manager howie roseman insists that the eagles are NOT in a rebuilding phase, they are simply trying to get better in all areas, and with 10 picks im sure they can get better but some of these trades and moves kinda leave me a lil iffy on the whole thing but either way i think the eagles will do fine and ill support wich ever way they choose to go.

eagle fans what do you guys think of lesean changing his number from 29 to 25? he wore 25 in college and wants to wear it again and when lorenzo booker was released he wanted to change it then but they wouldnt let him cuz of merchandise that had already been sold and put out there but now there letting him change it, i kinda liked 29 he rocked it really good! and it seems like everyones RB is 25 now a days it was kinda unique and cool to see a number 29 ballin out. what do you guys think? like it? dislike it? dont care? lemme know.

in a 3 way trade the eagles send a 5th round draft pick to the denver broncos, the broncos send TE tony scheffler to the detroit lions, and the lions send LB ernie sims to the eagles, so really it was a 5th round pick for ernie sims.

very good trade for the eagles in my opinion, as long as most of his big rookie contract is paid off already

i think he is commin off of a injury so theres some concerns there but i think with the change of scenery and going to a program thats known for winning it might help him elivate his game, those losses in detroit can take alot out of a guy, maybe this is a breath of fresh air for ernie, hopefully he does well.

okay so going through the tape on some of the rookie FA's the eagles just recently signed i found one guy that really stood out to me, jeraill mcculler OT, he's real agressive and gets after things, and thats the thing is that people have said winston needs to get stronger and be more physical and thats exactly what mcculer brings to the table, im not sayin he should start just that he's a real good developmental guy at RT, if you dont want to watch the whole tape thats cool, but at least watch the play at 3:30 its pretty impressive.

I have to say I see the Eagles have a pretty tough year they are starting a mini rebuilding process it is kolb's first year and the division is looking solid.

i think alot of the teams success is on kolb's shoulders right now, i also think they'll run the ball a little more than they did with donovan, this could take some pressure off of kolb, but if kolb struggles and turns the ball over and the defense has to be on the field more than they should i dont see good things happen but if kolb plays well and takes care of the ball i see the defense commin through for philly.

Kolb will play pretty good but he has some pressure on him those damn eagles fan are rough on you if you f*cking things up your run game is going to have to be strong cause kolb will see alot of different looks then he did those games he threw for over 300 yrds.
not starting sh*t either got nothing but love for penn. teams just giving my opinion even if it's not wanted.

nah man you good, i think the eagles realize this thats why they went out this off-season and signed a big man in mike bell, and drafted charles scott the bruiser out of LSU, mix them in with shady and i feel like you gotta pretty good run game, its gonna be different from the brian westbrook days, but i think they'll run a lil more then were used to so not everything is on kolb's shoulders, and he WILL mess up this season and have bad games but its how he reacts to the fans and media that will determine what type of QB he is, im confident in him though.
