There's so much hype following your team this year, and it's ridiculous. I think Philly will be 9-7. Jim Johnson's death and Brian Dawkins' departure will hurt.

your just saying that because your a giants fan and they will not lose 7 games this year trust me at most if they were to lose it would be maybe 1 or 2 or even undefeated and win it all that would be something

with tthe lost of of dawkins that will really hurt , even thought im a cowboys fan people think i should hate u guys but i think u guys are a great team with all that new weapon hopefully it takes u to the superbowl

please don't start predicting 15-1, 14-2 or undefeated seasons. saying this can produce the worst luck, which i would like to avoid. plus, record doesn't matter if you don't win the superbowl. i would just as happy the eagles get in as a wildcard team rather than win the division and have the best record. those teams don't seem to fair that well come playoff time.

NO. You guys struggled to even make the playoffs last year, you forget that 9-6-1 record all of a sudden? 15-1? 14-2? I'm straight edge, but I'll break it to have what you're having, you're on some seriously good narcotics, bro.

you forgot that theyre middle linebacker is done for the year as well...

I agree with you, but ive heard the same said about the giants - how many teams could lose a Defensive coordinator, 2 starting WRs, and a 1000 yard back and still be able to make the playoffs?...

Call me a homer, but the eagles just lost to much on that defense imo, and they werent that special for most of last year. Dawkins was largely responsible for that playoff run. Hes out, and there person who would be looked on to step up big is out too. I cant see the defense being that good.

Phillys schedule is pretty weak outside the division.. I got them like 10-6 or 11-5.. That offence is good and there's no denying that.. Offence wins games, defence wins championships.. They can still win games.. I don't see them as a superbowl threat though.. I think the AFc takes it no matter who goes outa pitts, balt, SD, NE, or tennessee..

The AFC is looking like the eventual Super Bowl champion, that is true. We can't predict anything...let's let this season play itself out.

well, here's what i predict. the loss of dawkins and johnson will surely have a huge impact on the defense. still, there is asante samuel (one of the best corners in the league) and sheldon brown to shut down receivers. ellis hobbs is a real up-and-comer. mikell is solid. only place i see question marks is linebacker, but the eagles have made due with below-average LBs before. and, the guy taking over for jim johnson isn't some scrub we found on the streets. he is Sean McDermott, a former assistant to Johnson. he knew he would have this job some day, so he's been preparing. no one will ever be as good as johnson, but we can still be pretty good, IMO.

JSmall, your Eagles are good, no denying that, but it's gonna be a battle, dude. Make no mistake.

i think it's safe to say the eagles pretty much dominated the panthers. i was really excited to see them shut down the run, more so than the pass. delhomme has really been struggling, so it didn't seem like a huge deal that we picked him off like 4 times. my big concern on defense was stopping the run, and the panthers have one of the best run games in the NFL. overall, great game. didn't see a lot of the offense, and mcnabb has a fractured rib, but we still played really well.

Our o-line is what really killed us vs the eagles. In the rushing game and passing game the o-line couldn't hold blocks for anything. Pressure every passing down, defenders in the backfield every rushing down, it was ridiculous. Yea fudgy, we still got one of the top rushing attacks in the league, don't let one game fool you. Lol when is McNabb gonna get benched again?
