| just play good D lol. if the opponent throws the ball and it's for a big play and then he hurry up's on you the nxt play is likely a run play it's kinda like a pattern they'll throw then run then throw again | |

| the reason they run the hurry up some of the time is because either A.) They feel like they have a mismatch with the players on the field or B.) they spot a weekness in the play that you called my best advice i can give you is have some very different plays that you can switch to. so if he feels theres a whole that can be exploited in your cover 3 then switch to man or cover 2 just keep them off ballance, if you change your play it will give him very different looks when running the hurry up | |

| if i get someone who does this constantly. i come out in dime and audible to a 3-4 play. i play with lbs at de on dime so i don't end up with ends in coverage. this way i can stop the pass and run. | |

| I know some players who run hurry up with two or three money plays. And you basically have to pick your poison. I like that dime audible down to 3-4 idea because it gives you a personel that canhandle anything thrown gotta try it out. | |

| Also, If you're doing everything that they mentioned, and you keep getting burnt, you may just want to jump off side and take the five yard penalty verses giving up the big yards that you may be giving up. That way you can select a better defense without using a timeout. | |

| WHEN I ASKED HOW TO STOP HURRY UP OFFENSE I WASNT TALKING ABOUT HOW TO DEFEND IT. I MEANT IF THERE WAS A BUTTON/BUTTONS TO PUSH. USUALLY I ONLY USE HURRY UP IF I'M TRYING TO GET BACK IN A GAME, BUT SOMETIMES IT SEEMS AS IF SOMEONE IS ABLE TO PREVENT ME FROM USING IT. | |

| That's madden. Hurry up is hurry up. If you throw incomplete you can't hurry up because the clock stops. Sometimes they won't let you after a ball measurement but sometimes they will depends on when you press the button. I think you have to hold hurry up right after play is over on measuremnt calls. | |
