help stopping hurry up

im pretty good at this game but i have trouble with 1 specific,common type player.the guys who use hurry up all game out of the spread offense but incorporate the wr screen play while doing it.if i use zone they run pretty easy.if i use man to cover the screen the just throw to a cut or out route cause we all know man coverage is horrible in this game.and of course they use mobile qb's so when i do have all bases covered the just run with the qb.crowding the box helps but that gets beat easy if u do it to much.anyone have any solutions to this?i use the 3-4 defense.

this type of player...in my opinion....can be very difficult to get a good read on. i also run the 3-4 defense and i have had problems with this type of player as well. then...i have been successful to at least.....slow this stuff down a few times...lol! here's what helped me. my philosophy is this: ...just like the offense has certain plays and audibles or "formation audibles" to work with....to confuse and gain an advantage over the defense.....so to....does the defense have audibles and "formation audibles" to confuse and gain an advantage over the offense. for one...i ALWAYS show fake blitz....even if i am running zones.

secondly...i "set" specific audibles out of a formation...then...like the offense does...i will come out (on defense) in another play out of that same formation....and then audible...if necessary....to my "set" audible play that may help me out more with those screens or runs. so, if i come out in a blitzing type of play....i have a zone play to cover or "shell" that play (and visa versa)....from the same formation....already set up in my audibles. that way...when my opponent tries to get a read on me by motioning or coming out in tight sets....he really doesn't know what i am doing because i am constantly showing him the same type of look (fake blitz) every single down. then i just make hot-routes to prepare for a possible screens or runs.

P.S. sorry for the lengthy post. just trying to clearly explain what has helped me.

Just something that might make it more difficult to read what your doing(when deciding what audible the offense will use) move your coverage around pre-play.

Like click Y button, then do like Show Blitz or something, that moves all your coverage so he can't read it, and he won't know to screen if your playing man(nobody screens against man coverage) so you could do Man Align which gives it the appearance of man coverage.

yea i just come out in like dime and audible to a 3-4 play and have cornerbacks blitzing and things of that nature in the lb spots which makes them get there extremely fast

i have done this a few times....and it was awesome! i need to do it more. thanks for the tip.
