Stopping Eagles Offense

First off, Imma skill 21 and my user id is {one_two_deal} for any madden players whooo wanna play me on the PS3. I hate playing the Eagles. I hate when people use vick, I need to know how to stop them. I try my best to stop the eagles on offense but for some odd reason on 3rd or 4th down they put in vick and it seem like you have to put a spy and a person on contain just to stop him. They have 3 fast ass receivers who can get open easily. This s*** is like hard as hell to stop. Mcnabb aont as fast as Vick so people that use mcnabb i can stop pretty easily but vick's ability to extend plays and s*** is unbelievable. Somebody help me. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I use the eagles sometimes but only use vick like a couple times as a decoy.
Stopping vick is much easier because his passing is not a great threat yet.

you can not stop the eagles offense u can only hope to contain it. my best strategy is make them kick FGs, manage the clock, keep them off the field and try and set it up so i get the last drive of the game

Any offense can be stopped but u kno not shut down COMPLETELY.ANYTHING POSSIBLE.IF JACKSON AND MACLIN GETS HURT DATS A START LOL.NOW U DNT GOT TO WORRT BOUT DEM.

One thing i noticed in madden which is very obvious in real football is that you MUST take advantage of turnovers. Normally my offense is hard as hell to stop but when i actually do force the eagles to 3 points they hold me so it cross cancel. I can stop the eagles but its some people who know how to work with vick and make him make throws. It seems like when i blitz he have jus enuff time to get the open reciever but when i dont he have time to examine the field so i guess i have to mix it up huh?

User spy vick/ cover middle of field with safety in 2 man under and press corners and wait for vick to make a mistake.

Don't listen to this kid. I use Eagles. I'd burn this kid with Vick and his little fag d's. Basically although this does not soundtrue if u can get Vick to pass on the run he is less effective. Whenever I throw the ball I always try to make Vick stop and then throw. It's much more accurate. Also get him to roll out to his right if you can. That way he has to reset to throw to the middle of the field. This kid said to to just have two spys. No, don't you gotta put a little pressure on vick to get him to go. If I have a nickel set I blitz the nickel corner and then have the DE on the opposite side in a contain. To stop the WR you gotta put quick pressure on with BnR. A good player will find a way around this so make sure you switch it up each play.

try playing 1-5-5..D. it's perfect against they a$$..trust.lolololo

The 1-5-5 can be dominated in the run game though if you are smart with your play calling and slide protection.

i really like that 2-4-5. its a good formation if you have 2 pass rushing LB like the steelers

i play with the eagles and i avg 43.3 points a game.. and i dont play vick but 3-5 plays the whole game .. i use him typically how they use him in real life. and for people tryin to keep my offense off the field.. it doesnt matter i usually have half as much time of possesion as the opponet cause i play soft deffense. dont give up the big play i make them nickel and dime me down the feild and try to forse mistakes... my whole stradegy is making big plays and taking away the opponets big plays..
