Mr 24 still the best CB

idk bout champ ever bein better.. dont get me wrong champ was amazing and got hella picks.. but he never locked down a whole side of the field and kept the QB from throwin to him.. they still throw to champ.. nnamdi locks up 1 side of the field and when i believe it was only like 4 passes caught on him or sumthin last season? im not exactly sure but it is near impossible to complete a pass on him.. i would have a better chance beatin patty willis in a 1 on 1 tacklin drill then a WR catchin a TD on nnamdi

guys, you really couldn't go wrong with either one, champ in his pride and asomugah now. they both are or were great players and both will probably be in the HoF when all is said and done.

last time i checked u have to have good stats to make it in the hof nnamdi doesnt have very big stats cuz nobody throw to him but the texans cuz of #80 andre johnson but nnamdi will never go to the hof cuz he dont have enuff interceptions mainly cuz nobody throws his way. so with that being said he will never go to the hof because of that and thats gotta suck lol andre johnson will take dat boy to breakfast cuz he'll get toasted on the feild and champ is future hof 4 sure

bruh but i dont think u understand that ppl have tried throwin against nnamdi in his early years.. ppl realized they cant do it so they stopped.. he shuts down his whole side of the field.. champ is good, dont get me wrong, but it is known to everyone non-biased that nnamdi is the better CB.. i understand there is sum biased ppl on each side but if u ask everyone who isnt biased, whos better, i would say 90% of em will say nnamdi.. if not more than that..

no disrespect to champ, but nnamdi is by far the best CB. champ plays 100% more zone than nnamdi considering he never plays zone. i'm not a raiders fan, but nnamdi is probably the best player in the nfl, forget CB. i'll give it to u tho. champ for #2 all day. theres not 1 WR in the nfl that can do anything against nnamdi. i'm pretty sure nnamdi is possibly the best cb EVER putting stats aside which sucks for him

i was just gonna say asomugha does way more man than champ ever did. champ played a lot of zone and i believe had john lynch behind him those 2 years so thats why that side of the field was locked down. asomugha has no1 really else on the team lol he locks down teams #1 guys and changes the way the team gameplans for the week

Cmon yall give ASO too much credit he good but not that good.the reason the he gets so little passes thrown his way is because the raiders suck.im a qb what am i gonna do throw to at ASO or some bum ass dudes.its as simple as that is as that and dont use that weak ass excuse hes in man and no oe throw the balls his way thats why he dont get picks thats clearly bs since Dieon caught plenty picks.Charles Woodson like ASO dont get that may passes his way and they are always in man but he jump other people men he go cross the field for picks and chases the ball down.

Al harris dont take chances just like ASO thats why he dont allow picks or TDS but his stats are cancelled out because he missed 4 gms.Ask brandon marshall about the pro bowl when he tried 3 fades in a row vs al harris.the same pro bowl that Larry fitz shitted on ASO in the first quarter.BTW al harris no pick and made pro bowl.

This thread is getting out of hand. The topic is really quite ridiculous. There is absolutely no point in comparing Nnamdi to Champ right now. In his day, Champ was one of the original "shutdown" CBs. Barely anyone threw his way, and for good reason. Now, he is getting older, but he's still an above average CB. Still, QBs will throw his way every once in awhile and yes, he does get beat.

On the other hand, anyone with football knowledge knows that Nnamdi is one of the best players in the league. He is the latest example of a "shutdown" CB, hence why no one even tries to throw it his way. Regardless of how much the rest of his defense sucks, the opposing team's WR will most likely be shut out each and every game just because of his skills.

Now, as you know, this is coming from a Bronco's fan. Still, I think it's ridiculous to compare the two at this point in their careers. Champ is at the tail end of his career and Nnamdi is in his prime. If we were comparing them while both in their prime, it would practically be #1a and #1b.

this will go on forever, just like ketcham said, 1a 1b. both will be H.O.F. players but Nnamdi (i think i spelt it wrong) wont get in until he gets traded or signs with a new team. the raiders arent going anywhere anytime soon.
