Help Wanted: Tips on user/manual catching?

What's the best way to user catch, against defense or offense only? When should I switch from computer controlled player to manual controlled player? Any more tips are welcome?

on defense if they lob a ball up to a wr then switch on to the cb and either use LT or L2 to strafe up and then just press catch when its close to you

Best advice i can gather from the demo is to work on your pocket presence and throw technique. Can't just bullet everything, w/ pass lead up, click on and turn around and catch anymore. Going to take some skill and practice.
