| Manningham is a lot faster than people thing, and runs good routes. He looked great. His hands make me nervous tho. He doesnt always go after the ball right. he keeps trying to catch it in on his body.
Smith looks like a great possession guy. and I think Nicks and Ramses will both be good as well. I like our receivers a lot. --
If Jacobs returns to form and we can stay healthy, I think we have a good shot to go all the way.

| You said it all, Elite. Manningham's a spectacular catch guy, that's why, but he'll get better with hands grabs as time passes. | |

| Depressing news guys. Kenny Phillips was just placed on the IR with a season ending injury. His surgeon than said that it could be a career threatening injury. We signed Aaron Rouse to replace him. We might have the worst safety tandem in the league. C.C. Brown is not starting quality. Michael Johnson is average i guess. I was huge on Phillips. I was expecting a pro bowl appearance. | |

Pat Hanlon of Giants.com reported that it's really not career-threatening, but an injury that has an infection in it. He might need surgery. Next 21 will be alright.

| Still, it was nice to see us go back to controlling the run. Bradshaw showed alot, Jacobs was ok. I really like the way Gatrell Johnson runs. Happy we got him. Smith looks like the real deal. Cant wait to see him with Nicks and MM. Really wish we'd give Barden a shot, at least in RZ. Eli played well, again, although people who dont watch the game will look at his stats and say he sucks.
I really love our corners. When we get healthy, we will have 5 corners that all deserve to be out there. We really didnt get to test the safeties much, but what do you think about TT playing a little FS?
There was pressure, but no sacks is a little annoying... I love sacks..
and please, just drop Tynes. I was in shock. If he does that in a close game im going to break my TV

| We haven't had a sack in 2 games now...I wonder what the problem is. But forcing bad throws and hurries are just as good.
Bradshaw has shown more because, one, he's not what teams expect him to be. Two, teams prepare for Jacobs but not Bradshaw. Jacobs had 94 yards yesterday, you can't knock him either. Both guys were about equal, despite the fact Bradshaw had over 100 yards in less carries. Gartrell Johnson's a surprise. He looks like Buju Banton, but he can run.
Smith is just pure sickness. Period. Manningham didn't get thrown to too much. Nicks should draw some double teams when he comes back from the sprained foot (possibly by the Oakland game). I really liked Barden at Cal Poly. I wish we'd use him more than Sinorice Moss or Derek Hagan; I think they're taking up space.
And I know the front office can find a better kicker than Lawrence Tynes. I have no clue why we didn't keep Carney this year.

I have no clue why we didn't keep Carney this year. were not gettin sacks because teams are keeping there RBs, TEs to block or d line and now with nicks comin back teams are gonna stop stackin the box and our runnin game will explode again and ive been noticin that manningham is drawing double teams now... which is good cuz teams now will have to take that extra defender out of da box and tynes is young and wont get better by not plying even tho i agree tynes does miss alot of field goals but he'll do....

| I havent seen MM forcing any double teams and his hands are what i thought - he keeps trying to trap the ball. I love his speed but he needs to work on his hands.
Smith looks nice. | |

| 'Ham looked really soft against KC, and he's not using his hands like he should (e.i. the Brandon Flowers interception). We got 5 sacks on Cassel. We'll probably have a field day on Oakland next week. Don't take the Raiders or anyone in this league lightly... | |

| I thought we looked good almost everywhere. random standouts:
Really liked Boley. He had the one lucky one where he got his in the helmet, (and a couple other sloppy plays) but he did do a nice job in coverage.
Really liked the "real" Steve Smith.
Love Boss. Everything about him. Talent wise hes near the same as shockey, minus all the "Gimme the ball"...
Hedgecock caught a pass!!!!(lets hope we stop throwing it to him now. I thought we drafted Beckum to sub in for hedgecock on passing situations?)
Corey Webster is a top 5 cb in the league.

Smith looks nice. i dont see why everyone thinks mario hasnt got good hands cuz he dropped 1 pass because it was behind him another because the CB had position on the ball when he got it but didnt come down with it all the way.... both drops were rlly his fault

There has been times Eli has put one between the numbers and MM tries to trap it between his body and arms rather than reach both hands out and grabbing it.

| Boleys injury is really annoying, esp. with the Saints game coming up. Not that i think Boley could have stuck to Bush next week, he was the best coverage linebacker we got. And Kehl is "week to week" with a finger injury.
Whose going to play WLB? I guess Blackburn starts. Wilks backup (if hes not injured already, because hes almost always injured). If anything happens to either, i expect to be in a lot of nickel sets, TT playing NB and Dockery on the outside until Ross returns.

| Sintim is really a 3-4 OLB, or 4-3 DE, and we are moving him to 4-3 SLB.
WLB drops into coverage much more often than the SLB. I dont think Sintim can play it.
Its gunna have to be a mix on blackburn and kehl. I really like Goff a lot more than both of them, but i dont think he has any experience at WILL.

| There's a rumor he'll move to the inside. I don't know, I think he can play the outside. Kehl, I'm diggin'. He can play...maybe he'll start on a regular. | |

| Season Injury Report: QB Eli - Achilies Tendon - Missed little time, isnt the same since the injury. (aside from the first half at Oak, when he came out because of it)
RB Bradshaw - Playing through cracked foot Andre Brown - 3rd round pick, torn acl Danny Ware - injured week 1, hasnt played since.
WR Hixon - In an out with knee and hip problems Nicks - 3 weeks to knee injury Manningham - shoulder injury
TE Boss - in and out, different injuries
Oline - McKenzie - Knee was it? missed a game and some time in another 2 - DE Osi - coming off knee surgery - history shows it takes a while to get back in the swing, although is looking decent Tuck - playing through Torn Labrum (shoulder)
DT Robbins - Coming off Knee Surgery Cofield - Coming off Knee Surgery Canty - Played one game - Hamstring Alford - Season ending ACL tear
LB Sintim - Groin Boley - had surgery, cant remember on what. Only played in 2 games.

S Phillips Season/Possible Career Ending injury, Knee -- If our defense can get healthy, we will take the wild card spot at the least...
