The niners WILL make the playoffs this year for sure

thats saying alot danny i have them finishing 2nd in there div but im not an expert but i hope for the best for sf

lmao danny goodluck with that. i like san fran i like singletary he is a great coach and think he will turn organization around. i see them taking 2nd or 3rd in division with a 8-8 record or 7-9 but they arent gettin to the platoffs. sorry to spoil ur dreams

if we go 8-8 i think we will take the division LOL

but we went 7-9 last year so i think we can improve more than just 1 game

i think the worst record we can have is like 8-8 but we won go under .500
unless our whole team gets injured like the rams the last 2 season lol

the 493rs went 7-9. i didnt know that i think the colud win it the cards were 2 lose warner or 1 of there wrs b/c of injury

naw but i do think the niners have a legit shot at making the playoffs.. they are a good team and are going to return to the playoffs under singletary eventually and i wouldnt be surprised to see it happen this year...

8-8 wont win the division the cardinals will only improve.... they found a defense in the playoffs and a run game which is what they lacked in the regular season.. if that translate over to this year 8-8 wont win the division also hasselbeck is back and they brought in some guys on O and D so look out for them

They are having an open practice on Sunday August 1, 2009. Training camp will be our first opportunity to see Michael Crabtree.

The niners are turning around, they have a real chance of making the playoffs this year. Singletary is the man we needed!! Our offense needs to step up though and not rely so heavily on gore. V Davis gotta step up!

i really think we will have a qb change soon. our d cant win all the games for us.

• We havent had a 200 yard passing game all season.
• Hill is 4 for 22 on passes of 20 yards or more.
• We are averaging 5 yards per pass attempt.

were 3-2 with wins vs garbage opponants and the o has no explosive plays in the passing game. Hopefully crabtree can spark the o but if he doesnt Smith might be seeing the field sooner then later

so heres some updates on the niners cause it seems to me this niner thread is DEAD ima have to take over cause im on their site every day and on nfl.com every day as well as espn! yeah thats basically what i do when im at school lolz anyways well you got what you wanted taylor mays wen to the niners but he went in the second round we got two offensive linemen in the first round mike iupati and anthony davis i think im doing this off the top of my head trying to recap the niners off season.... uhmmm we traded for ted ginn jr with the dolphins and gave them a 6th rounder i think basically that was our biggest aquisition this off season besides the rookies vernon davis had a spectacular year he almost had 1000 yards rec. and had over 50 receptions and about 10 touchdowns frank gore wasnt spectacular but he did enough to get us rolling alex smith took over for hill during the sf @ texans game and did well for the rest of the season by posting more touchdowns than interceptions for the first time in his career, michael crabtree came in during week four or six i forgot i think it was six and he almost won offensive rookie of the year for the nfc if he had played the whole year he definately woulda had it we got rid of shaun hill i forgot what team he went to... i think it was the lions we drafted another linebacker in the third round and a defensive back in the seventh and a running back in the fifth so, so far the offseason is looking bright even though i'd love to see t.o. back in a niners uniform and help us out and end his career with us but i doubt thats going to happen! but if i was in the make a wish foundation thats what i would wish for! lol this has been an niners update from NW52

I hear good talk comming out of niners camp about alex smith and how he's really got the system down a few of his players have been cought saying he's doing a really good job, and that he looks totally different (in a good way), guess it shows that with a lil consitancy good things can happen.

yeah thats true cause what... we've had a different offensive coordinator every year he's been here but this is the second year for our current offensive coordinator but thats great im glad to hear that ima post somemore news on the niners in a second

I see the niners making some noise in there division, i wanna see if taylor mays is for real, if he blows up early the niners could have one of the nastiest defenses, with mays & willis, the only problem i have with the niners is the CB spots but other than that they look good and ready for this season.
