Official G-Men Thread

the only thiong the giants have is a solid running game and a good qb. they have NO good recievers they should pick up harrison.Eli wont make the post season im sorry but a running game just wont get you far as we all have seen.

they do have a great offensive line and an really good defense so if eli can just manage the game they should have no problem making a deep run

i think our WRs of Steve smith, Domix Hixon, Hakeem Nicks will develop during the season and smith will go back to the slot were he should be and hakeem nicks be our #1 and hixon #2 and i think Ramses barden will also play a good role on this team as well and i hope he could develop into our #1 and nicks be #2 cuz nicks is similar type player as boldin... and bardens just the type of WR that eli likes and thats cuz hes a freak at 6'6 and i also think mario manningham will have a good yr but as a giants fan i am worried bout the WR core but not saying there bad the just need time to develop cuz with the plax thing the all got pressured to take pressure of eli and now the have had time to adjust....

Make ramses a red-zone only guy from the start of the year. If hixon dont start catching the ball, we will have to switch him with MM.

moss is garbo, trade him to the raiders for 2010 first round pick

all you have to do is tell al davis that moss is fast, and the trade will be accepted.

This, coming from a guy who was a bust of a receiver in Roddy White UNTIL Matt Ryan came along?

Some people have a chance to shine and do the most with it. Who's to say Hixon, Manningham, Smith or whom have you can't do the same?

Agreed.

The division could very well come down to the least injured team. If we are healthy, we will be good. If Snee or O'Hara go down, were going to struggle.

Lets hope Coughlin gets over the whole not letting rookies start. I want to see Sintim and Nicks start

agreeded nicks needs to start but idk bout sintim IMO i think sintim should be out backup DE cuz he was a pass rusher in college and he a better option then toffelson lol and plus we have millions of young OLBs and i like danny clark as a starter

Sintim's gonna stay a linebacker; we have WAY too much defensive line depth, plus Sintim's really undersized. Him, Pierce and Boley should be our starting linebackers by the end of the season.

I don't know if Coughlin's about not letting rookies start, I mean, Michael Johnson started 7 games as a rookie, and Aaron Ross started 6 as one as well. Maybe it's just us.

Positives on Game 1:

Good game. Hopefully this proves the post-plax offense can move the ball - (an arguable top 5 defense BEFORE they added the best DT in the game)

Defense looked good. Good pressure. Love seeing Osi back. When you consider the Skins only TDs were the fake and against the prevent defense, it makes them look that much better imo.

Negatives:
Hixon. Dont like him at WR. i think he will be a full time special teams player by the end of the year.

Nicks injury. will probably missing at least a week or two.

what did everyone else think?

Solid effort, but it's still a work in progress. The real test is next Sunday against Dallas, even though they looked flat to me.

no doubt bout them lookin flat, IMO they only scored cuz tampa runs cover 2 D and just leave the middle open everyplay and the cowboys just took advantage towards the end NO MY GIANTS DONT RUN COVER 2!!!!!!

COREY WEBSTER > roy williams
AARON ROSS(hopefully) >crayton
WITTEN> boley (barely cuz boley is a great coverage LB and should contain him)
DLINE>oline (DIS WILL BE THE FACTOR OF THIS GAME)

just shows our D is greatly improved wit OSI back but we are so NOT healthy!!!!!!

Ross, Canty, Sintim, Koets, Ware and Nicks are out
Phillips and Dockery is questionable
Michael Johnson and Boley is probable.

Thats a lot to overcome. Im not concerned with their WRs - Webster and TT are good, Bruce Johnson did solid last game, and if Dockery play we will be fine in that area.

But how are we going to cover Bennett, Witten, Marion, and Felix? If Boley and KP dont play, I cant see it happening.

I still think we can win, we just we need to keep running it(thier run D looked weak last week), consistenly put Romo on his ass, and keep Ware off Eli.

You said it all there, man. Not having Ross may be a blessing in disguise, though.

So...about our "sorry" receiving corps...

they didnt look sorry from what i saw, they POOPED ALL OVER THE COWBOYS!!!!!!!!

SUPER MARIO is in this ******. he's so good, and no-one see's it but the g-men. he's gonna be a surprise for oposing defenses when they play him, i mean he burnt the s*** out of newman.
