My Offense Sucks...

Trying to play as the Cowboys in franchise mode, however, I can't get the offense down. I'm playing in All-Pro mode.

I play on line against my friends, and do quite well. But when I try against the CPU, I just can't do anything on offense. Just lost to Philly 30-0. Game before I won, 7-3, threw a touchdown pass but the wrong man caught it, lol. Any tips on getting my offense going?

I'm so frustrated and just want to have competitive games against the computer.

Where to start...what kinda offence do you run, what play book? For me it comes down to knowing my scheme. I run the WC and for the Dallas it is a good PB. I have about a dozen plays that I know like the back of my hand. Come to the line try to read the D the best you can...Zone or Man, then take what the D gives you.

I like to run Dallas and I kill the computer on AllPro...mix up the pass and run and and don't force your throws.

The computer mostly runs man, so I would run slants and drags.

use a non noob team only people who will play cowgirls are people who know their weaknesses

I use the Cowboys... They have a good qb and a fast rb with 2 good receivers and a 2 big te's

all pro mode is way too easy...

This is why I am asking for help, tips or strategies.

what u need to do is find your weaknesses. is it throwing, running, reading coverage, or what. i would recommend getting a scheme regardless if its as lame as throwing to the backs out the backfield. the cpu does run man so i suggest running compression or bunch formations and running pick routes to by open up 1 wr. stick with 1 side of the field wen it comes to reading coverage..figure out wat the cpu always does regardless if its online and offline on certain coverages...the cpu usually lines up a certain way for cover 2 cover 3 and cover 4...online is different caus ppl do show blitz and all kinds of rediculous audibles. but get a scheme together and work on it.

Can you explain what you mean by get a scheme? I think my weakness is definitely my passing.

a scheme is a particular strategy...a scheme can be a kind of formation or a kind of playing style. here is wat i do this is a scheme...i run compression and bunch sets...compression formations are gun snug flipped and singleback tight with 4wr's. bunch sets allow u to use misdirection and allow u to really use 1 side of the field to make reads...u work almost the whole game out of these formations thats a scheme. a scheme can be big running sets and u pound the rock and use playaction..i use the cowboys and they have a sick running game and their playaction game is really nice with miles ausin over top and witten short. another scheme which i dont agree with but for u being a beginner try throwing to your backs out the backfield with angle routes and flat routes

I do love Witten, he is my go to man, lol. I do try running, but I use the Pitch alot.

Is there a way to change playbooks or create your own?

i was saying that shouldn't be as good on madden bc they're nowhere near the best team in the league in real life.

When you are changing your uniform hit r2 then u can change ur playbook. Indy det and ne have good passing plays...pa boot over in guns bunch te out of indy and det pb is a good passing especially against man coverage which the cpu runs a lot.
