What is the Best Play out of Multiple D To Defend Middle Pass? I Keep getting Burnt in Middle
Usually use Nickell 1-5-5

cover 2 man... user the middle... watch the rb

Which Set 3-4 4-3 Dime 1-5-5

If it is a 7-10 yard over the middle pass, then Cover 2 Sink is a good play. Out of the 1-5-5 you can get great pressure up the middle too. If it is a deeper pass over the middle, user the middle LB and back up a little. Get good at reading routes.

try using 155 instead of 115. with 155 you get 11 players instead of 7!!!

lol but seriously figure out wat route he's beating you with and cover it manually in a cover 3. and when you say middle do you mean deep middle like splitting the safetys or like short middle like slants?

man i like this PB but its just to hard for me to pass on my nickle odd split. cover 3 is the BEST play in the game for 3rdand 10-15 situations IMO

I'd Say Cover 2 Sink is pretty good.

Cover 2 Hawk works for me but thats 46 PB

but i dont use the 46 pb

1-5-5-it's easy to set up to stop a lot of sh!t..

nickel odd split is in the jets playbook. move until you get to the nickel section. then go down to odd split.

115 is better. You get 4 less players, but 4 extra coaches who will help your game.


Seriously, 1-5-5 Cover 2 Sink spreading the deep zones and usering with the FS in the middle is pretty nice.

Control a LB or a safety to cover the middle of the field.
