| I know this topic has been discussed before, but what are the best defense to us in the redzone. Specifically 10 yards from the goaline? My defense in this area isn't bad, but it could definetly be better. | |

| i like the play cover 2 hawk out of the 46 normal formation. very useful in stopping short passes. if you show blitz, it can also help to stop the run. | |

| I do some pretty weird stuff. Blitz out of the Dime, Cover one press in 4-3 and 4-4. I'll send a DE in a flat zone or QB contain, full-scale blitz in quarter, etc. The only consistency with my red zone D is I'll have my best LB man up on the RB. I've had many more successes than failure doing weird stuff, so I'll keep doing it. | |

| I use the Hawk Cover 2 also but it's hurt me a few times, especially when they pass in the middle between the 2 safeties. Also sometimes a pass quickly to the running in the flats seems to be uccesful against it. Anyway I'm just curious to see what else people use. | |

| cover 2 sink....audible the 2 safties to the middle(triangle and down on the right stick on ps3)
tried and true play...if they have a tendency to hit the rb in the flat, put your de in a flat zone
this has gotten me more picks than any other play in the redzone

| cover 2 sink is perfect for the 10 yard line.i usualy use dime or even quarter so all my fastest guys are on the field.inside the 10 like the 5-7 yard line i use 3-4 stack cover 2. | |

| Inside the 10 I pretty much just run 1 play unless it's on the one.
it's 3-4 normal, there's a play called MLB blitz. Show Blitz. I dunno why, but it never gives up a touchdown for me haha. It's not like a crazy play or anything, it's not a nano, it's just 2 LB's Blitzing who hardly ever get through, and man coverage with safeties in cover 2. But for real, it just works. Like when they run it's usually no gain and when they pass you got coverage.
