Speed issues in 08??

Who agrees wit this one and yall know who you are!! I hate when people put fast guys as WRS for ex. Washington on the Raiders Newman on the Cowboys,Champ come on to me these guys shouldnt be able to get off the line yet run right past my DB and score a 80 td thats crazy!! I mean Willie Parker or Champ,Washington Hester shouldnt just run right by T.Newman and get wide open and score thats bs. Just cuz someone is fast doesnt mean they can play WR. Thats something else that needs to be fixed in 09. If this were true Hester would be the best WR in the NFL and hes not!!!!

i agree with this 100%. I don't even play the raiders anymore cus they got 3 speed weapons on defense that they put on offense.

I hate how people put DBs @ wr too. So many people abused that with Champ, but he did play wr @ Georgia. They plan on making the fatigue set in for that. By the way, any one hear about the Eagles possibly using Lito @ wr. Doubt It will happen though. As for the Devin Hester problem, he was able to do that @ times last year. I think if he gets bumped @ the line, it should be harder for him to get off.

Not moving him, just using him in some offensive sets. The guy is a big time playmaker when he gets his hands on the ball. They're gonna use a lot of nickel packages on defense. I honestly don't want to see the Eagles in Madden, they'll be tough to beat

in real life even the fastes people cant burn corners only devin hester not randy moss not anyone else its all about the route running ability for the wrs no one gets burn reggie wayne is slow but burns people in real life cause of route running

Yes! this has been an issue in madden 08. If the cb is a starter, he'll miss some plays on defense as he'll get fatigued from playing both sides of the ball. Hopefully in 09 if a cb is not known for playing both sides of the ball, they won't be in the wr pool for substituting and only on the return team pool.

Yes! NJD7, I know thats what you said I was just agreeing with you and giving my opinion at the same time of what would be a good fix for 09.

There's going to be times when a fast guy will run by a corner not because he ran a good route but because he just flat out ran by him. If you as the defensive person do not scheme correctly and have a slower corner on a fast wr without help it will more than likely result in a long passing play. That's football

DEVIN HESTER IS REALLY NOT AS FAST AS THEY HAVE HIM ON THE GAME HE RUN LIKE A 4.3 AT HIS PRO DAY. I REMEMBER RANDY MOSS RUNNING A 4.2 AND ON MADDEN ESPECIALLY IN ZONE COVERAGE OF THE RECIEVER OUT RUNSA THE ZONEZ THEY WILL GET BURNT EASILY EVEN IN A DEEP ZONE WICH IS KINDA DUMB

Devin Hester ran a 4.23 in high school and randy moss never ran a 4.2 or so

Hint, when you see speed guys on the offense, don't play zone cause you well get brunt, play man and if your going to blitz play bump-n-run.

bump n run can leave ppl open if that player has a high release though 4 ex. the seahawks have a ton of quick receivers i dnt suggest bumping them.
