Man I don't know if its cause of the new patches or what it seems like to me u can't out run no one any more in maddenjust played a game I was the broncos caught a ball with eddie royal who speed it 92 or 93 I think I was in the open field with him but got taken down by a LB who was atleast 10 15 yards behind I was just like wtf there no way in real life a LB and catch up with eddie royal in real life just seems like in the game when your in the open field your dude starts to lag like he slows down so he can get tackled don't know maybe its just me lol

I have had DeSean Jackson get sucked up several times since the new patch. Before he would just blow by people. DeSean Jackson! this guy is fast. No one should catch up to him. When I return a kick off for a TD he starts slowing down around the 20. It looks like he is struggling to run like he is tired. I don't know if EA did this to make it more real or not.......

yeah its the patch....has to be. It looks dumb as hell when you get in open field and your guy start pausing. I dont remember it being like that b4 the patch? or I just didnt notice it b4

I guess it is new with the patch... annoys the hell out of me with devin hester. I dont think its stamina/fatigue... just makes it so speed is less important i guess.

I seem to notice it less with Johnny Knox for some reason, regardless of stamina... 99 vs 97 speed, maybe that has something to do with it?

Yeah man i had 97 speed get caught by 83 speed in the open field wtf is up with that

theres your answer right there. But Ive had Pierre thomas break a tackle and break off huge runs, same with my FB heath evans. Also Ive never had a problem with reggie bush burning people

Its the pursuit rating its sucks the offensive player in like a vacuum. Its bogus but its helped me a couple of time against AP so i aint mad.

yea i was the titans using the fastest RB in madden 99 speed, and when i ran the pitch and if the blockers pick up all there guys there was no chance of stopping him once he broke to the outside, now they got blocked and break out of it and catch johnson even 5 yards behind johnson your not suppose to catch him 99 speed means fast as hell and hes getting caught up with lol, but then again in the NFL, you see RB'S break it, then gas out after 40 yards, but CJ he don't gas out that bad lol

CJ don't gas out he jogs 50yd TDs that s*** happened to me and pissed me off so bad. Madden is taking some of the realizum of the big play away.
