whats the diff. between lead and precision pass in madden 09

i am having trouble understanding the diff between the 2

Lead Pass = Holding the Left Stick to either right, left, up, down, etc.
Precision Pass = Holding LT while throwing the ball

yea but i think its better to do the percision passing wit a QB lik Brady or manning but not entirely sure
