Tony Gonzalez

Im not trying to be biased because im a Chiefs fan, but if you dont think he is the best TE out there right now, you are crazy.

For some reason, I never think he's that great of a player, maybe because he's not flashy and all...but damn, he's having one of the best years of his career, which speaks a lot about a future hall of famer like him....

It's crazy, the guy is 8th in reception TD's and 14th in reception yards and he is a TE.

gates will blow by him in a few years and plus he's already up there with the big names.

I agree, Gates is still young, but for this current season Tony Gonzo is the best there is.

Yep, Gates is a beast for sure....Once he can get his toe to heal completely, it's insane to think he'll be even more beastly...

Back to Gonzales, I really felt bad for him when the Chiefs weren't able to pull off a trade for him...that press meeting afterward, you could just see that he was crushed...yet, he handled it like a man and has played his heart out the rest of the season...you've got to respect that...

Personally, I would have loved to see him go as well. He has put in so much for the Chiefs, he deserves a chance to play for a contender. I know a lot of other Chief fans feel this way too.
