Ways to build stick skills?

Spit some.

Its all about practice, and getting comfortable with controls and using them to your advanage. I know its sounds stupid but thats what its all about. Not everyone has the stick skills to be great at things. So unless your doing what i said, then really there is nothing more you can do to get better stick skills.

Once I get my xbox back I think I'll play some unranked games just to mess around w/ the sticks.

i got a strong that's one thing i know. i think i picked up the skills in training mode to be honest. I just got out there and try to use the hit stick on every tackle, even when I'm not suppose to.

one method i really like for the hit stick is after a pass or when a RB is coming up to a tackler i switch the player im controlling to get nearest to the ball and i hit the stick in the carrier's direction. nothing else, just stick. that way i know i'm lined up well, and i'm gonna lay a huge hit. that's actually what gets me a lot of fumbles.

i noticed its harder to use this year, if you ask me. it's like theres a little delay to it. so i hit it wicked early.... and that can be dangerous. i often get huge fumble forcing hits, but i often blow a tackle as well.

but i say hit up training and practice mode and do nothing but hit stick and then highlight stick. it's fun and you if your stick skills aren't outrageous you notice it getting better and better real fast.

I never use the hit stick anymore unless its to make a receiver drop a pass. Start trying to strip balls... usually get 1 a game.

i just try it out online and get killed or make a play basically i rather learn on the fly take some chances

online lag is different from practice so i like tryin stuff onlline

yeah, online lag sucks. it took me a minute to get used to with the hit stick and on the kick offs. thats one thing ea needs to try to improve, along w/the million others lol.

well stick skills is something u are born with lol....


its bout havin fast reflexes... especially when runnin the ball...

u gotta make move slightly before normal time cause lag

visualizing too...see wat should be ther and wat is there and create wat u wanna see

Learn when to use Precision or Lead passing.

practice mode thats what im gona do to try to perfect the rocket catch

I think I'm pretty good with it.

i have to improve on my stick skills as well. i am pretty decent..but some of my online friends are monster with the sticks...lol! they make it really tuff on me to win a game.

I'm starting to get real good at breaking tackles and choosing my directions and stuff but sometimes I just juke the wrong way trying to make the play too flashy.

I wish I could RC.

i have this annoying habit of juking into tackles...dont kno y but it can caus alot of fumbles

Yeah bigb that's what I do too

The only juke is use is the spin.

i find it crazy hard 2 rocket catch... x box is way different from ps2 gameplay


i will master the user catch.... lol

I do the same thing. Ive been able to break a lot of tackles or at least get the extra effort and get a couple yards but i juke into tackles when i have a wide open lane sometimes.

BEST WAY to develop DB skills... learn the RC and master it and to the DB Drill in the mini camp..

Yeah I was able to RC with most teams but Phillies wideouts are so small they have a real hard time doin it.

I think I'm gonna start tryin it with D-Jax.
