User adjustments on D

Does anyone use the option to audible a defensive player into man if you see that your opponent keep going to the same option predictably. I sometimes have trouble selecting zone d's that cover where I want them to. For example, I had someone going to the TE out of the FB position out of the backfield over and over so I subbed a LB at DE and user audibled him to man up on the TE with my zone behind. I worked ok. I was just wondering if anyone else used this option very much, and if so, what situations and creative ways do you use it?
