Petition to stop the word NANO

Please sign this if you are sick of hearing the term NANO everywhere... its an effective blitz, there arent any nanos any more and its not cheesing... in football, does coach tomlin say to farrior before the play, "hey man, run that nano" and when they fail do they say "the nano doesnt work..." NO, so stop saying it, its about as cliche and douchebaggy as hearing "killa", "balla" and my personal favorite "stunna" all the time on peoples gts... damn people

there is a very thin line between a "nano" and a blitz. i do believe that most of the "nanos" in the game can be stopped with simple slide protection or even max protection. although some of them do exploit the stupid blocking of the O-line

well see, what you dont realize is that this is a MADDEN term. Just like the term dots, cheese, F@G D, rocket catch and a few others. There terms specifically for Madden, so we use them for Madden.

I agree, a nano was line the 3 man blitz in 08, that was crap. This year, despite subpar options in controlling your O-line, there really are not any unstoppable blitzes.

I think CJ said it best when this is a Madden term. I like to think of a nano as bringing heat in a nano second with 5 or less defensive players. The Madden 08 Contain crash in line was a nano to me because it brought only 3 guys and still gave pressure so you had to block the running back to avoid it. Everything nowadays, you just pinch line or protect a certain way and you can contain most blitzes or overloads. You don't hear Jeff Fisher say to VY, "hit Gage or Crumpler with a dot" on this play either. Just part of the Madden lingo.

Nano is the same blitz and/or formation that u use about 85% of the game. No matter how u set up, if the blitz still works, its a nano.

you must be a dumb cheesing bastard to think that nano blitz is not a cheat. how many time have you d ware and james harrison tackle the qb before they hand the ball to the rb. how many times have you seen a defender tackle or sack a qb before he toss the ball. how many times have you seen a qb get sacked before completing a three step drop back.

jame harrison and d ware always dominate any body blocking them, but in madden they wal;k untouch and sack the qb on every down.

there are "nanos" or whatever you want to call them in the NFL, the only difference is they dont use them every play like ppl in madden. ive seen the MLB os SS come in untouched up the middle plently of times.

hey broski.... fyi... theres no such thing as nanos in football... how many years of football did you play? i sure got in the backfield a few times untouched... its called overloading a gap, breaking down protection... not cheesing... get off my nuts bro

nano is a madden term they have diffrent names for it in real football

lol, this is in the Madden general talk section, meaning we're speaking on Madden, so... we're speaking on madden. Nano is a term used in Madden, and it won't get stopped no matter what anyone posts, asks or says. It won't get changed to blitz or heat. It'll stay nano. yea, they dont run nanos in the NFL, but this is Madden and its specifically a term used in Madden.
