PRICE DROP PS3

Sony is dropping THE PRICE OF THE PS3 80G to $399.console and this helps ps2 players transition over to ps3 more smoothly dats y they did this also. it puts a real dent in MS plans to be the best system especially with PS3 outselling 360 in 2007 and in 2008 so far this year. also the ps3 has outsold xbox in every country except for the USA. which will soon happen. plus ps3 is only 3 million systems behind MS which is not alot consediring they were up by 7million last yr. the year of the PS3 is here .

Wow! Sony announced less than 2 months back that they had no intention on lower the ps3 this year... that 09 was more of a reality, they said their main focus was making triply A titles and psn games this year and not trying another price cut to seal quantity of systems... meaning their losing money on every system sold at the current price and software sales are going to have to make up for this lose, not another price cut, to lose even more money on every system sold. The ps3 slim will be out next Dec. I think that might be sony window to cut the price of the current SUK systems again but things change from month to month... lets keep our fingers crossed and hope a price cut is coming soon for the ps3 again.

Hey, do you guys reccommend I get one after the price cut or wait until the slim version comes out?

the slim version will definetly be more than the biggger version. so, if u r talking money then get the bigger version.

If money not a concern than I would wait for the slim, as if you wait until the slim hits... you'll probably be able to pick up the bigger model even cheaper.
