Sports Center turns 30!

very sshitty, lol. Sports Center is the most amazing thing to hit the sports world since, well, ever.

Yea it would be crazy!! No one would be doing office pools for the ncaa tournys, the ncaa tournys would still be 48 teams or whatever it was before and we would have never seen the george mason run to the final four cuz they were a #13 seed... Espn and sportscenter has made sports so great!!

So many memories they keep poping up... Tiger last year winning the us open with a torn ACL.. Monica seles being stabbed in the back by a fan (literally)... The bo jackson injury(fuckin disgusting)... I'm done talkin for now, haha I should leave some moments for other people to talk aboot..

i was watching earlier highlights from sports center wat back when. they are talking about the college football system, and still today, there is STILL talk about the system

i hate to keep bringing this up in the face of a Michigan fan... but as an Appalachian State University student, watching that FG get blocked is probably the #1 highlight for me. i remember watching that entire game, on the edge of my seat, ready for that team to put us on the map. Boone, NC.

thank god for sportscenter gives me somethin to do every morning haha

its ok, app state is a really good football team,michigan was too over confident. i mean that was OUR year. henne,long,hart, all came back for a nat'l title and we fucked it up, but its ok, its in the past and thats wehere it will stay for me and my wolverine brothers, we all have moved on. these next couple of years wll put michigan back into the limelight.

yea, sportscenter was all i watched my senior year when i went down with my broken ankle. it helped me get through the pain . i love sports center, it will never be outdone

Yeah, but I still catch hell for that Appalachian State game. People must never have known they won 2 National Championships in a row prior to that game.

I tore my ACL in my senior year of high school, and I watched ESPN religiously almost. I'm more into sports than I ever have been. SportsCenter is the best..

yea, its amazing how sports can bring together, and split a nation in 2. i mean the first baseball game in new york after 9-11, it was so amazing to see everyone that was there in attendence getting along so well, and even though the mets won that game everyone in the stadium was on their feet cheering their asses off. i love sports...

We all do...sports is great. Too bad a lot of our women don't understand...
