Accelerated Clock?

Are you liking the accel clock feature or no? I'm actually liking it because it's making games go by faster than last year.

I last played madden 07 and them speeding up the clock and slowing down the plays off balances everything.

I dont really like the slower players and I dont like the faster play clock because sometimes u just wanna try different plays and do motion or whatever.

Yeah on franchises with 10 min quarters

It sucks! I still hate it, its so hard to set up plays to my liking.. Its caused me to be really really bad at this game, I don't think I'm getting any better either.

Doesn't give you time to set your play up, although it does of course speed up the game. It has it's positives and negatives...and i would say overall it's negative. No time for audibles or hot routes and moving a man across the field. Too easy to milk the clock in the second half when it really counts. Rushes your playcalling so you can attempt to audible or hot route. Don't like it at all except for the fact that it makes the game faster. But i would rather not sacrifice all the above stated just so the games can go faster.

i like that the game is shorter but man does it cause me to have interceptions b/c i cn barely set my plays against ppl with gud coverage so i cn beat it.

i really enjoy it your not suppose to be able to audible then audible back then audible back it makes everything more realistic but i do wish the game would be longer like 6 or 7 min quarters i think would be good

while im walking up to the line i look at defenses and know what im going to do already so 10 secs is plenty time to set up a play.it actually doesnt effect running out the clock in the second half because if they want to run it out they will take the full 40 anyway(but thats diff story in the 3rd.)the biggest reason i like it is because when people quit on me in the 1st and 2nd quarter its easier to just get the quick win.

i like it, for the fact that games are sped up. i can make my adjustments pretty quickly, and i don't make many adjustments anyway, so i'm fine with it.

Its grat when ur up and u jus want the game 2 end sucks when ur done and u need more time

it was incorporated because games took 45-60 minutes to play! that's commendable. but it sucks because you don't have time to re-adjust your play call decision or motion a player. and if you complain about you'll be called a whiner or a cheeser! if you guys watch a real game look at how much time certain QBs take to call for the snap. most QBs are screaming and yelling out bogus and actual call signals b4 the snap, so why can't we? if we want sim then this is not sim!

that's the only thing ncaa did better than madden... you should be able to adjust it accordingly on and off. i like it though.

They claimed that madden 10 is the closest thing to real as ever , I say BS . No such thing as play clocks that run off 30 seconds in 10.

i wish they put back the 'no going for it on 4th' program like they had a few maddens' ago. so if it was 4th and inches, u had to punt. a huge sigh of relief when u stop someone that short and they couldn't go for it, except in the 2 minute warnings. add that to the accelerated clock and it might make for an interesting game!!!

yea...i agree with that one...im sick of people going for it on 4th down...that such BS!

Although I'm in Iraq and none of us here can play on XBOX Live, it's surprising but everyone seems to prefer 5 Min. Qtrs with Accel Clock off. Still fairly short games but it doesn't cut away from the audibles that a lot of use, and from my point of view it's just not realistic with Accel Clock on. Just my 2 cents though...

its nice as far as game speed...but if u dont call ur play quickly u'll have around 9 secs to audible a play and most of the time that'll result in a d.o.g

the clock thing its the worst ....... nuff said...

at first i hated it. i would get like 3 or 4 delay of game penalties, but then i got used to it and doesn't bother me at all

I like it online because it makes you more careful about what you do. You need to be on your game on O and D if you mess up just once the game could be over. I feel it is more of a challenge with it on!

It's great! When do you ever see an NFL team break the huddle with 30 seconds left on the playclock? My only complaint is that it makes the games go by too quickly, I wish they woulda made online games 7 minute quarters.

i like it b/c it speeds up the game obviously, but i wish u could press a botton to use it before the play is picked so if u were trying to make a comeback u didnt eat clock. One thing they couldve done to make it so u could make pre-snap adjustments and have a faster game was make it so it can only go down to 20 seconds instead of 13.
