Fight for every yard?

I understand that the gameplay supports fight for every yard, with the gang tackles and stuff, but having Fitz and Troy on the cover? I don't think so.

I understand they were two of the best players last year but Troy is a safety and Fitz is a deep threat reciever. I don't see how they are the 'perfect candidates' as ea sports say. It should be like a line backer and a running back. I would personaly like.. erm.... well since Ray Lewis has already been a cover athlete i would say Brian Urlacher and Brandon Jacobs, now imagine those two clashing, that would be fighting for every yard...

they liked polamalu and fitzgerald because they were both in the superbowl.

yeah, theyre not perfect fits for the phrase "fight for every yard" but they do fight hard. i see what youre saying, if i was doing "fight for every yard" id get some guys like willis, urlacher, and ray lewis and then like AP or a running back like that.

but troy p and fitz were both in the superbowl, and they wanted to make this madden big, and theyre both very high profile athletes, so they just had to take that opportunity to have them both.

I just make my own covers.
