| Your on defense. What play do you call when the game is on the line? I would call 3-4 under cover 2 sink, and put the blitzing mlb in a yellow yone or man him up on the tight end. and i would put the defensive ends in contain. what would you do. | |

| depends on the formation sometimes but mostly
46 cover 2 hawk .. pinch the line and just try to move everyone into the box in case of the run
but if kno its a run .. fire zone press

| 4-6 or 4-3 Cover 2 bump and run. 4 yards, probably 80% chance of passing (watch for the screen). If he does run you have 50% chance of stopping it. Remember he is on the 6 yd line so all your players are a lot closer to the LOS. If he has a good TE and they have been using him, highlight the TE. | |

| goalline cover 3.. whatever the cover 3 play is called... put both des in flat zones and blitz the middle 3 lineman straight down. i would cover the right side of the screen flat by myself with the de i put in a flat zone.. i would probably pinch the line too so i would make them bounce outside if its a run. | |

| of course...what i do depends on my opponents tendancies in the red zone. but...if i know for sure that it is a pass....then i run:
Goaline: RZ Stop
Package: LB ENDS
-Spread the D-line -Spread the LBs -Place Blitzing DEs in Buzz Zones (Purple) -Manually user the DT in the Hook Zone (Yellow)
Optional: place both defenders in a Spy (Orange) in Hook Zones (Yellow)

NO! once again....running this set up would depend upon my opponents tendancies in the Red Zone...and esp.....if i knew they were passing...^^^^^ lol! plus...i am usering the DT in the middle in the Hook Zone to watch the QB. and remember...i gave an optional? well...you could just leave the Spy defenders as such if you were concerned about the QB (depending upon who it is).

| thats why i always use either qb contain or qb spy with someone, plus qb spy actually provides decent coverage against hb curl routes or wr drag routes | |

| 4th and 4, on the 6? Easy QB run so you gotta throw in the goalline cover 2. Audible down from dollar or quarters and drop back 1 guy in a hook zone, then drop back 2 in buzz zones, so you should have a 2 or 3 man rush right now, so then drop another guy in a spy jus to make sure the QB doesn't get the 1st on his feet | |

Only problem is that tight end streak. i would manually defend that.

| Mod, its 6 yards to the endzone. Don't you think a hook zone would murk that, especially with a DB or safety playin it? | |

but u have 10 yards in the endzone to hit that TE streak.. its essentially 16 yards to fit the ball in to the TE.

| hook zones don't work against that. i send the tight end on a streak whenever i am forced to pass within the 10, and it works 75-80% of the time. | |

| i would just user a guy in the hook zone and guard the tight end manually for the first 5 yards, after that, you don't have to wirry about the streak | |

| no matter what I come out in, if i see a quarters defense, I am audibling to a run play and getting 4 yards easy. I know what your saying though, if you know your opponent isnt going to run, why not run a quarters, but i just think that a lot of people will audible to a run if they see quarters | |
