Need Some Help with a cheeser

iight so ive been playin my cousin for awhile since hes roomin with me for about a month, he's been using the redskins and scrambling with jackson the entire time, then when i stop that he just bombs out to randle el for the rest of the game... im ok with stoppin the rush but theres times where he just exploits the game and runs back and forth to mess up the qb spy i put in playmaker... im kinda new to madden so im not great at defenses and what to do in situations like that.... ive been using bears and ravens, any suggestions?
