Madden 10 Wildcat Help

OMFG I AM ABOUT TO SNAP THIS GAME...

I just played this guy online, so f***ing annoying.

First off, all he used was wildcat, and thanks to online delay of about a second, even when I could stop it, he would make a minimum of 5 yards...

My first online game, he beat me 31-0. I fumbled the ball 4 times, I was using the eagles. I have never fumbled a ball so much in my life. WTF?

HOW DO U STOP WILDCAT

46 - Inside Blitz, contain the DE's. If you don't have that play try something similar. I'm totally shutting down the wildcat.

Corner back blitz stop the Wildcat for me. I usually use the 4-3 CB Blitz to stop it.

the nickel 1-5-5 contains it nicely or the 3-4

I user the safety everytime someone runs a counter/toss .

try shifting the d-line over to where u think he is running it .

and if its a counter use ur DT and he should be able to make the tackle.

all wildcat plays are normally counters or sweeps to the outside.

Man blitz it... the HBs are REALLY bad throwers.. even mcfadden who's the best. You can use contain too in there.

what team did he use on u.

he was using the chargers, with the miama offense. Tomlinson and sproles are deadly in the wildcat

sounds good im gonna give it a try....

i had trouble just now vs chris johnson. no matter where the f*** i blitzed he was around the corner or just threw 100% accurate passes 2 lendale white.

They'll complete the pass to the flats almost 100%, but even the short drags are thrown away often. I used the play Nickel Strong-FS snake blitz 3-flipped.

The LB and safety are blitzed right where most of the run plays go and the short passes.. there's a buzz zone on the back side for the PA route and a hook zone on the right side of the screen for the short out route PA. It's cover 3 deep, but you can probably take the CB on the left side of the screen and user him to roam, tackle, etc... because they can't adjust the plays. I use the player in the hook zone and just adjust to what comes my way.

Here is an old video of the play from previous madden, you can see why the setup works, where it blitzes and how you can use it vs wildcat effectively.

Maybe i haven't played anyone that's good using the wildcat, but i haven't had much trouble. i'm playing with Green Bay, in the 3-4 pinched d-line, spread LB and outside backer blitz, i think the most some has got on me ever is like 6 yards, i usually stop for no gain or loss.
