User controlled defender

What position do you take control of on defense? I usually play as the SS that way I can either blitz or cover the other teams best Wr. Buttttttttttttttt if your going to blitz and your showing blitz with that guy your highlighting make sure you Qb. contain your oppsite side DE because he is going to see your going to blitz and most likely is going to try to scramble to the oppsite side and if he does Bam!!!! its a wrap. And if they pass they will most likely pass to the playmaker thats when you get yourself a user pic!!!

if im the broncos or red, etc. i take control of John Lynch cus he's a big hitter and a brick wall defender. So any tackle will be successful. But i usually take control of the mlb

i take control of free safety and de on 3rd downs

Your right! and I like to play either safety position and some mlb as well.

saftey sometimes mostly defensive line or linebackers and if i get sick of randy moss and othere spectcular catch people i play as the corner

NJD7 when you say play the CB, you mean switching off after the pass or B4 the start of the play, just curious.

I like to use the OLB. I will mostly use Manny Lawson cause he has that 90 speed and a 95 acceleration. I mostly drop back into coverage and outside contain with the D Line. If I blitz with him, I will still outside contain but drop the DE into covereage on whichever side I send Manny. This creates a zone blitz look.

when i get spectcualr catch and cant stop it i play as corner before the play i back him up i usually play zone so all i have to do is back up if i play man i let the cpu guide me guy by not touching the controller and when i play zone i start tunning its easier cause if u get there first u can have better postion and easier time picking it off

Thx's 4 explaining, this well help a lot of members understand better and "pulse" help them raise their game as alot of players have a hard time stopping this.

Also if you have a cb that cant jump super high just use the cb run back like i said in my early post and wait to he jumps and hit is legs in mid air

Well this cause the WR to drop the ball? If the WR is hanging onto the ball after multiple legs hits, what do you recommend me or someone else trying next to stop the spectacular catch WR.
