Madden 10 Demo Thoughts

but back to my thoughts, i love this shiit for real

the demo doesn't contain announcers (never does) just wild fans screaming out random shiit

I think i would rather listen to chris collinsworth then those fans. They get annoying really fast

Never played madden 10 demo is it worth it

yea definately worth it....gives u some time to get adjusted to the new differences and features...

key adjustment: the game speed is about 50% slower....so u may be holding sprint/turbo, but it doesnt look like it.

overall: its realistic as hell, the presentation is basically what we've been waiting for...the fans are WAY more into the game...u can hear them yelling out random sh*t....

there is a lot more sideline interaction:
QB's warming up pre-game
QB's talking on the phone to the booths during defensive times
coaches getting angry and snapping when a INT is thrown...

the running is a lot harder though, so the "fight for every yard" theme fits so far...

u have to set up passes, unless ur a oassing guru or a west coast offensive player, u have to pick and choose deep routes...

and finally (lol)..MAN DEFENSE IS BACK!...u can play man D and actually feel safe about not getting raped by the offense...

hope that persuades u to cop the pre-order and get the full demo.

I love da fact that man d is back but 1 of my concerns is they way willie parker is breaking tackles at a ridiculous rate. He is a speed back not a power back. If he was jukin my men ill b cool but he is constantly trucking n stiffing arming my guys even though I'm behind the line scrimmeg gettin ready to make a tackle for a loss madden betta have dis crap fixed. LUV MAN D!!!!!

Another bad thing is that when you dive forward to not get hit, you still fumble the ball. Happened on a kick off return so I'm guessing he had average ball carrying. I did get my first fumble recovery though on that button masher.

Yeah black I was thinkin that too, but I remember readin on the inside blog they just have that to show off pro tak in the demo. I heard it's not in the real game.

But it'd make a lot more sense if they used Beanie Wells to show it off.

i sorta don't like the game speed. maybe it's because i was used to the previous fast pace game.

Man I didn't knw they still fumble while diving wat kind of gay crap is dat. Ppl dnt fumble on dives like that n they better have dat pro tackle or breakin tackles fixed by release

I'm liking how when your QB gets hit while trying to make a pass he finishes the throw, instead of pulling it down and taking the sack. That always annoyed the hell out of me!!

i like how u will actually have to have a goodplan. And the same gameplan wont work for each team

Game speed is probably the only thing I need to get use to. If TB's playbook is the same it shouldnt be hard.

Ok lets not forget its a demo. which means its not yet complete and there is probably a bunch of stuff that was left out. u guys all have great opinions but what u need to do is get a buddy to play head 2 head with then ur whole perspective of the demo will change. the game is actually very smooth but has some ruff edges.overall the game play seems way better and i like the fact that u cant mash the hit stick on D. the 1problem i do have is the play calling, the triangle should have been the circle. tooo many time i thought i picked a play and looked down at the chat box and all of a sunned i hear the damn play clock. but otherwise u will c that the d is way better and fixd especially when head 2 head. so my suggestion is try that then u will have a way different view on it.

it's also nice to know I'm gonna be the best at my school in madden 10... cause I had some friends over last night we played, the closest game was 28-7 me winning (all madden).

I was the best on 09 and 08 too...

at least out of everyone I know.

The passing gme seems so much tougher. I jus really hate that 3-4 I cnt cover anything. I like having 4 dwn line men. But I'm excitesd to use my team for sure.

i just got finished playing 2 games on the demo as both teams and of course like the rest of you....i really hate the game speed! hopefully that will pick up on the real game. i am still getting use to the passing game but the run? man please! I GOT THIS! lol! i always have had a strong running game with the Ravens. nothing will change there.

I hope the game speed goes up about 2 notches, an i hate that the qb has to hold the ball 2 seconds before he throws, other then that my buffalo bills will be unstoppable on O, T.O AN LEE OUTSIDE ROSCOE IN THE SLOT MARSHAWN IN THE BACK FIELD,,,, GOODLUCK PUNKS
