360 Online Franchise (madden 10)

so.

PS3 is having one, and since this is one of the biggest new features of the game this year, 360 should get an online franchise going.

So I'm assuming nobody's gonna like, reject the idea lol.

But yeah we should start planning it now... here's a couple questions to get an idea of what our rules will be:

1. Fantasy Draft or no?

2. How will we determine the teams?

3. Any rules on gameplay (we should probably wait till at least the demo drops to determine this)?

4. What will we do about people not participating?

my takes:

1. Definitely no fantasy draft. I hate those, and it seems like it'd almost take the fun out of the s***.

2. Have a team draft, random order.

3. wait till the demo drops.

4. Depending on how many people we get, we could replace them. I think it'd be dumb to switch em to the computer though cause well, everyone on this site beats the computer on all madden easily.

I guess I'll be the comissioner... since well... I started this thread... and I like controlling things.

what you said sounds like a great idea and for the team picking order i say you pick a number 1-100 and everybody picks a number but you cant pick the same number and it just goes by whoever is closer or exactly right to the number, i dont know its just an idea but other than that everything else you said sounds good

yeah that'd work.

we'd just have to have someone who's like, a ps3 player pick the number.

cause then what would I pick if I chose the number lol.

haha how bout u jus pick names out of a hate and do it that way...if u need someone to broadcast it then it can happen we have ppl for that...fudo we need u to recruit this and get this damn thing rollin.

i actually like that idea we should have someone do a live broadcast of picking names out of a hat and first one picked gets first pick then so on. but yeah we should get a list goin of the people that are going to do this soon.

yea im up for a league...

heres my opinions:

1. no fantasy draft
2. people should be able to pick their teams... but if there are too many people choosing the same team then switch to random. (Im a Raiders fanso im fine hahaha) However, i think people should be able to trade the random team they get.
3. 5 min qrts. All Madden Difficulty
4. Not participating should be kicked from league (idk if we can actually do that)

P.S. this is an online franchise right?

we're probably gonna draw names out of a hat to get the draft order, then you draft in that order. By the looks of it we're drafting TEAMS not PLAYERS

so if you want the raiders, you better draft em.

Fudupi I have been looking for somone to start one of these up! yes! i'm in. Isn't there a website to randomize a draft order? I saw it in another thread.. if not I can broadcast the picking of names out of a hat. I have a webcam.. we'll all have some fun on it when the draft is picked!
