| And for all the people that said Larry Bird. His last year was 1992. 2009-15 years = 1994 | |

Was that shot that he made over Craig Ehlo one of those ones where he "finished above the square of the rim"? Tim Duncan is clutch, do you have to be a jump shooter to be clutch? You have to be clutch to lead your team to 3 NBA championships and be the MVP of them (well 2 of 3 he led them, the first he was a rookie). Can we lock this thread to all Canadians?

- Ok, after seeing that dirty mullet decided to put 3 power forwards and a center tied at #3 over guys like reggie miller, chauncey billups, steve nash, ray allen, HELL even steve kerr(with the exception of robert horry though), i want this thread to be closed and locked. Ain't no way i hell you can list tim duncan, carl malone, and Olajuan or whatever the way you spell his name, tied at #3. Then on top of that, you stated reggie miller getting his shot blocked by prince was a HUGE deal or something, when that has nothin to do with clutch shooting. I'm sorry, but any person with a decent basketball IQ would laugh if someone said that. No offense.
LOL, i was about to type the same thing, I dont think he understood the question, I think he was thinking who's hands do you want with the ball in the end of the game, where as this is just about the clutch shooters. My three are: -Reggie Miller -Ray Allen -Jordan Olny reason I dont put Horry is cause im a kings fan

| Does anyone at MS watch Basketball? I'm about to snatch away every single members NBA card. How in the hell does no one put Kobe in there somewhere. He is going to be considered one the 10 best players of all time when he retires. Now I can't stand dude. But I respect his game. Dude is a finisher. There is no one in the NBA right now that is as clutch as Kobe... Kobe vs Allen--come on.. you really think Allen? Kobe vs Kerr---still rofl Kobe vs Pierce--closer but still no contest Kobe vs every great PF/C that was listed---Kobe all day Kobe vs Glen Rice---Tie... Sorry thats my boy I see why MS is just a "Madden Site".... | |

| The Black Mamba is dangerous. But since we could only list three I had to go MJ, Bob and Miller. He is in my top 5 tho, trust. Can I keep my card? Lmao! | |

and if you wanna argue kobe you gotta argue lebron. lebron in 6 seasons has carried his team at times and since he is the most athletic man in the NBA, he is definitely one of the best at creating his own shot.
from 82games.com, "Clutch" stats. This measures points per 36 minutes when there is less than 5 minutes remaining in overtime, and the lead is five points or less either way. Here are the current leaders.
Player Pts
1 James 55.4 2 Anthony 54.7 3 Bryant 53.9 4 Wade 50.2 5 Paul 49.8 6 Nowitzki 42.3 7 Hamilton 41.6 8 Roy 40.5 9 Pierce 39.3 10 Billups 38.7
Player Fga Fg% 3pA 3p% Fta Ft% Pts Reb Ast T/o Blk Stl Kobe 39 47.90% 7.7 50.00% 13.7 92.00% 53.9 9.9 6 1.6 0 0.5 Lebron 30.8 50.00% 8.5 36.40% 24.6 87.00% 55.4 16.2 11.5 7.7 0.8 3.1
Lebron is statistically better in the clutch, and in my opinion he is a better leader. his team players better than any team i've seen since the early Bulls, their chemistry is amazing.. he comes through when the game is on the line. it really depends what your definition of "clutch" is. is it hitting the LAST shot? is it coming through for your team in any key moment? or just in the final minutes/seconds of a game? and when you're talking about clutch shooters, are we limiting the conversations to 3 point shooters?
i like to think of clutch being how good you are in any key moment... but when it comes down to it, TRUE clutchness is when the game is on the line, there is only time for one last shot that HAS to be made, you take it, you sink it.

I say LeBron cause think about it, late in the games, in the clutch, the cabs always rely on him, and I'm not sure I can think of a time when he hasn't come through... be it a last second shot or a total takeover...

Jordan Horry
winner: Horry Reason: 12 game winning shots in the finals. Most 3s in the finals.

LeBron is the only thing the Cavs have. Another reason is Cavs have no coach, so LeBron calls his own number. Billups Kobe MJ23
