How to use the giants effectively in madden offensively and defensively

ok so i was using the run n gun pb with the giants and it was ok.......should i try out the pittsburgh playbook or what if some one uses it teach me some schemes or what not also a bit of help with the defense...some good blitzes out of multiple d

the run and gun is beautiful for giants. rc with plax and toomer. if u cant rc then pound the ball outta fullhouse and twin te. run hb slam outta full house strong and hb tos outta twin te. pa dee pouts is best pass play in the pb. then the next best is trips attack if u know how to set it up. i like to run the inside most reciever on a curl and the outside most reciever on a streak. then keep the middle reciever on a post and right when u hike it roll out to the right. if in zone the post will be open. otherwise the te delayed route will usually be open or u can rc with the curl

yea Trips te is my money play i use it when im down or need a quick score......imma have to practice the rocket catch but imma only use it when ireally need it u know any tips on how to do it well..

if u play with giants put Jacobs at FB and run FB Dive out of twin te it will piss people off lol

Whats up ya'll. I've been using the Giants in our MSFL sim league. I've always used the Steelers pb before, and I started out with that pb when I used the Giants, it's an excellent pb. Lately I have been trying the Giants pb, but to no avail. I like the tips on using the RnG pb. I am gonna lab that see how it goes. If anyone's got anymore tips for playin with the giants please post, I need all the help I can get!

i would use run n gun or oak playbook as well with the gaints.
there are formation packages where you can put your wr at HB so you can do your sweeps with moss.

all these wack ass tourny tips...yo straight up tho...to be effective with the giants on offense u need to think run first with jacobs and maybe stretches with bradshaw...pound pound pound big sets...forget putting jacobs at fb that cheap forget puttin a wr in the backfield thats cheap as well... run TE outs and INs and wen in doubt role right hit plax on the streak bullet up so he outstretches the short corner...run the post route with plax as well.

defensively the giants feel like they play as a team u honestly wont have to blitz much with the defensive line they have which is beast...come out in the 4-3 or 46 show blitz caus u can leave the safety and corner out on an island if u have to caus they have good corners...try line stunts and always put umenyora and tuck wide caus they DT's are super animals.

I AGREE!!! listen...i am not a tournament player at all. and i know alot of stuff that is being run in the madden community comes from these cats. but you see....THAT'S THE PROBLEM!!! EVERYONE begins to run the plays the "exact" same way....and then....it is seen so much in the madden community that people begin to develop ways to stop it or counter act it. i have used the RNG playbook for a bit. i love it! i like to run it in unconventional ways and not like everyone else. however, when i switched back to the Raven's own playbooks on offense and defense.....i started winning a few more games because the plays i was running wasn't so familiar. if you run the Giants...try running their own playbook again. after all...it is "tailor-made" just for them and their personnel.

agreed...for a team like the giants who dont have an explosive offense there are a few books that will suit this team well besides there own...run heavy, run balance, baltimore or pitts....suggestion man leave the run n gun alone like mili said everyone is runnin the SAME BOOK be different be original somehow.

he asked for tips. i gave him the way i would play if i needed or wanted to win. i dont use rng in normal games i use tb. and i run completely sim. when im playing someone good or playin for money i will use rng

im tryin to keep someone on the right side of the fence and u all are tryin take em to the darkside...dont get me wrong i dont have a problem with wat yall do caus yall do wat u gotta do to win regardless if everyone does it regardless if someone thinks its cheap yall close games and like i said do wat u must do to make that bread...im jus sayin for someone who isnt on that level give him real tips ya dig

he just asked how to win. or tips to win with giants. therefore i gave him tips. tourny style isnt the darkside. dont get all pissy bout it cuz u cant rc. now i dont wanna fight or nothin i just sayin u can play sim if u want but if this fella wansta win i gave him some nice plays. if he wantsa win some bling he should use this. it isnt as fun to play like that tough so if ur just playin for the hell of it play sim if u want or be a fag and deep post and rc all game.

yea im not on no tourney level or any of that....just want tips on how to improve....and so i can prepare better for madden 10...thanks for the tips yall

dude i wasnt talkin about a state... i was talking about another Madden web site... maybe the numbers are different idk i just remember NYG and i was just curious..

i dnt use NYG, so im not much help but jus pound the ball

i played someone once that used the gaints.
he used TB playbook.
he came out in 3wr 1te 1 rb most of the game
he did direct snap alot with jacobs
he did screens to moss
that he threw high passes to plaxico
it was hard to stop. you should try it.
put direct snap and the screen from shot gun normal in your audibles
and there are some other money plays in there but i forgot now

Thanks for that guys, I found that helpful (what I could understand). Can anyone suggest any back to basics treads. I'm not that great so I need to start slow. Also not 100% with all the terminology yet.

Any help would be appreciated.
