Colts Defense Empty
PostSubject: Colts Defense   Colts Defense Empty2009-02-07, 15:48

My defense has gotten really bad the last week after winning 12 straight. No defense I get in can stop the Tightend or the run lately.I run a 4-3 normal, under, and over as my base but my LOLB awarness is only 59.So what do you guys think will be a good base D for them.I know i'm gonna give up yards and then tighten up in redzone, but besides Freeney and Mathis and Sanders the rest of my defense lacks awareness, agility, speed, acc, jump, str, tkl, everything,so whats a good d for them. Please help!!!

it's the "scheme" not the "team." the Colts defensive personell can be beasts! just do your best to make the right play calls for certain downs, distances and situations. but...consider using the 4-6 as well. i run the Ravens and their personel can actually run ALL defenses!

sometimes i run the 4-6, 4-3 and the 3-4 playbooks. it just depends on how i am feeling. i am actually considering switching to the Multi-D per my convo with Crunk.

i would recommend the 46 cuz if u can get pressure on people you can usually make them make mistakes and they may not have enough time and get sacked. the 46 brings mad heat.

Yeah 46 could be a good choice. Especially with Sanders backing you up, he's the one guy that I could trust to be a lone safety. If you're good with Freeney or Mathis, you could also try some heavy-pass defenses, dropping one of the DTs into coverage and using a 3 man rush. If you can get a good coverage combination that works, 3 men should be enough to be able to create pressure on the QB, especially when he has no one to throw to. If you are having trouble giving up short yardage, try gambling with blitzes on first down. If you get the QB, you can hang back in Cover 3 or Cover 2 for a few downs and they won't be able to keep dumping it off, because they'll need a big play to even out the loss.

Rip/swim moves:
L1 and R1 for PS2 (probably the same for PS3, not sure though)
LB and RB for Xbox 360
Just be careful and don't over abuse these moves by just button-mashing constantly, because your player is likely to fall over.
