What the **** is wrong with madden?

So it's a close game and with 4 seconds left I click ask madden...

If it said field goal I'd kick it if it didn't I'd do my thing...

It said kick it and I literally had the perfect kick... Full power, it was aimed right down the middle, and I had the arrow all the way down so there was no way it'd go any farther...

And it ended up going like 1 inch under the cross bar no good... everything was perfect (I kicked from the 37) Wind was at my back and everything.


And it counted it no good...

So obviously the game has it in it's system that I won't make that field goal so why the **** did it tell me I could do it?

from the 37 is a long kick
only powerful kickers can do that even if you put it all the way down

And if he can't do it why would madden tell him to?

Akers is not a very strong kicker any more. In a dome I can kick from 60 with bironas if I needed to but When I have a kicker like Vinatieri I am hesitant to try anything over 50. At any rate, You were probably more likely to make the field goal than you were to complete a hail mary.

I dunno, I was torchin him all game with my screens but it wasn't a chance that I was confident in really.

umm....its alot better when you have a big foot kicker and i dont think ackers is one

that's one of the things that the Ravens are missing....a BIG FOOT kicker! Stover is accurate....but he has no power for those deep 52+ yard fgs.

Thats one reason I use my Raiders lol... 100 kicking power always works for me.

raiders have the best kicker/punter in the game

cuz madden is really screwed up. it doesn't like certain teams and certain players. its very biased towards players like L.T Brady and Peyton. its a fluke but a 52 yarder is hard to kick
