| Nawfside turned me on to this.
Everyone knows you can run commit down the middle, not everyone knows you can commit to the left or the right. You just hold R3 down and towards the direction you need to go.
Let's say I'm playing a guy who always runs a stretch to the right out of I-Form Strong. Once I notice it I can commit to the right (R3 down & rght) when I see him in that formation.
It is very dangerous to use, just as dangerous as a run commit to the middle. Obviously it is best against the power G, stretches, sweeps, pitches, tosses, etc.
I'm sure some of you guys know about it, but this is news to me. I'm going to be practicing with it more, with line shifts and what not, and see what I can do with it. Try some things for yourself and let us know how it goes. | |

| I did it a few times in the last game I just played. It definitely shuts down any toss, OF COURSE the cut back lanes are huge, but if you have some good tackles they might be able to contain that. Using the Panthers, I committed to the right and my opponent went to the left but Julius still made the play. I don't know how many times that will happen though. | |

| i tried it out a little Bry, but couldnt really be for sure if it was working. you can shade the dbacks to either side presnap, so i guess its just better to do that anyway. rather, its the same thing. | |
