Pass Commit

Is it just me or do you literally have about 1 second to pass commit or else your guy will hit stick? i knew this guy was doing play action so i wanted to pass commit so my line wouldn't fall for the fake, but instead my guy hit sticked and he scored.

Yes, this will happen, and You do only have like 1 second to pass or run commit as soon as ball is hiked. Also i hope you aint controlling a player close to the line and he hikes ball and runs then it can also cause hitstick and take your guy outta the play. Anyways in my opinion i dont think the pass commit works that well. But do you guy's think it works?

Yeah! In my opinion "pass commit" wk's as good this year as in years past madden games... maybe even better. The defense as a hole this year is super tight and it's a "user pick" feast this year. If you love defense then you've got to be in heaven with madden 09... as the defense rules this year. I've played 22 online games and I'm only allowing 12.6 prg and forcing 3 turnovers a game as well... 94% of my forced turnovers are user picks.

Furdgy! It's like a second this year to run or pass commit... I guess... EA, wanted players to have to react faster in theses situation in madden 09.

WOW! when you "pass comment" your telling your team to ignore the run and play-action... Since you only have about a second this year to either to pass or run comment. Maybe! you didn't get the pass commit in... in the allowed time. I have never had my defense to fall for the play action if I pass committed in madden 09 or any other version for that matter... but this is the most glitched and bugged madden version to date so I guess anything is possible.

i always use commit and sometimes i get burned but if i pass commit on a pa ive never gotten burned..

pass commit works wen u can get it off...i have jus calmed down on using it caus all tho i hit it right as the ball is bein hiked my defender throws the freakin hitstick and den my reaction to a route is slow....upset bout this i can see if they do it wen u are wrong butit dont happen on pass commit so wat da deal with that?

Lets hope! that just 1 of many issues that they address in patch #2

passs commit is so gay this yr i can rarelty get it off like i use to in 08 n every calls play action n it works to well.

if they step forward its a run, and if they step back its a pass.

i dont kno y he keep sayin wat the offense of line...i kno watchin the line lets u kno run or pass....but wat im sayin is wen its a pass situation and u hit the pass commit 60% of the time or even more they throw the hitstick.
