Will Ravens be the best team on Madden 11?

Ravens will still have no speed. Stallworth wont be any higher than 70ovr if that and if Mason doesn't come back Boldin as big of a deal.

I'll take Cowboys, Viks, Bengals, Packers, Titans, Colts, Eagles and Steelers over them.

lol why does everybody only care about speed? still have one of the fastest and the best D in madden, and improving QB, one of the best rushing games and now they add a pro bowl WR. whats not to like?


and just because somebody isnt fast doesnt make them not good. my favorite WR in madden go like this

and no i dont RC so im not picking them just cause i can RC with them. at the WR spot in madden the only time a WR speed matters IMO is if your chucking it deep. all those guys can get away from the coverage, come down with tough balls (no homo) and break tackles. adding boldin was HUGE IMO

the ravens wont be the best team in madden they are more balanced than before but they lack a great corner..they have 2 decent corners who on other teams will be nickle corners. IMO, if the jets get demaryius thomas the 6'3" 220+ freakazoid from GA tech like they are projected to look for the jets to be the best team in madden. it is way to early to tell and but their defense is set up to be beastly and their offense to be dynamic specially if they make that pick. the cowboys, who are projected to get taylor mays, will be the second to 3rd most used team only behind MAYBE to the vikings. the vikings defense is not wat that is on madden they are to slow in the secondary. i used the chargers for half the madden season and the reason was because of their tall wr's, rivers accuracy, and their fast linebackers not to mention they had 2 good corners. look to see the ravens more this year with boldin caus they have a passing game now but they will be top 5 used team in madden...we have to wait to see who the titans pick up in the draft

Its to early to tell. Gotta see the draft first. And it depends on your playing style.

For my playing style, Balt with Boldin would be top right now. On paper Dallas could be with a good draft - but Ive never used them.

Yeah you can RC with the Chargers WRs.. but they lost LT, which was actually a DECENT RB in Madden.. he would spell Sproles at the end of games because he can hold on the the ball.. if you are in a close game, you don't want Sproles running because of his poor carry..

I think the Chargers will still be a great team next year.. I was going to say that they were going to be a less used team, but I forgot they decided to sign Sproles to a tender.. if they lose Sproles too.. they probably wouldn't be touched.. I bet Bennett won't be with the team next year either..

What does it mean to be the best team? Does that mean to most used team? The team that all the hardcore Madden Challenge players?

The Ravens still lack a RC WR... they have slow and short WRs.. they have Boldin, but he's not a RC WR.. I bet he has good CIT (Catch in traffic)..

The defense is great.. they have a good LB core, and Great DBs..

They have a great QB, but he needs a bump in his deep accuracy.. other than that he's good.. I think he should be faster.. he just seems to be able to scramble.

WRs: Miles Austin - He has 94 speed I believe.. he's 6'3" and 88+ CIT I believe..
Roy Williams - He's 88 speed.. 6'3" ; He can RC, but he won't make that important catch everytime.. that's why you use Austin..
Slot WR: Jason Witten, he has 92 CIT, only 75 speed, but he's 6'5"
TE: Martellus Bennett - He's 6'6" 78 speed, but not that good CIT.. still works for basic routes.. can RC too..

RB: Felix Jones.. 96 speed I think.. he's just a beast.. 82 carry, which is good for a fast RB.. he's a Darren Sproles/Reggie Bush running back with better carry..


Defense:
LB: DeMarcus Ware - 87 speed.. he's DeMarcus Ware.. you know him..
Jason Williams - 87 speed.. another great LB that can rush off the edge or put into purple zones..

The best thing about the Dallas D is that they have so many backup LBs that are 79 and 80 speed.. there's 4 or 5 LBs with 79-80 speed.. That gives you the ability to have backups for your LBs plus the ability to have 79-80 speed LBs at DE.. which is very important in the 4-4 guide I run... The DEs go in coverage a lot.. and contains..

CBs: Terrence Newman.. 97 speed.. he's short but it works out still..
Mike Jenkins.. he's 93 speed.. great too..

FS: Pat Watkins.. 85 speed 6'5".. what can I say? He's a beast.. 6'5" FS.. knocks down passes that no one else in the league can..

Jenkins shits on Newman.

Why do you say that?
I hate Newman's height, but he's fast enough to make a break on a ball from the middle of the field to the other side.

Newman is starting to decline and Jenkins had a good season. Jenkins was the best CB on the Cowboys last year, hes not "good too."

terrance newman has poor press coverage and gets whooped on slants thats his only downfall.

I dont think there is a best team in madden, its all how people play them. I mean some people fucking OWN with the redskins. However I think the Ravens will be alot tougher team to beat, but there is still one glaring weakness. Our best CB is an 83 and very short, yes hes fast as **** but if hes covering a top tier receiver, it can be a headache. I mean Foxworth, washington, and Webb are all pretty good, but when facing a team with more than one elite WR or an elite TE it can go pretty wrong at times. Assignments help alot but theres only so much u can do

no, wait untill the draft, well see, if the pats get dez bryant and an outside rusher and a running back(dez 1st round, graham 2nd, jahvid 2nd,) and a corner in the 2nd well be fine
