well i didnt mean he needs major help just that i see him like i saw fitz last year i mean he had a great year but this year just wasnt all that, i think teams paid more attention to him and gave him special treatment if you will and i think teams will do the same to johnson thats all. im not talkin crap just sayin players like jacoby jones and david anderson are gonna have a chance to really step up cuz i feel that teams are gonna try thier hardest to stop dre leaving opportunity for for others.

^^^^Dre is alot harder to cover than fitz because of his speed.

doesnt matter in my opinion cuz you better believe teams are gonna try and come up with ways to take dre out of the game, i dont see him makin too many plays if he gets a whole load of attention. if it can happen to fitz it can happen to anyone, but we'll have to see.

^^^^fitz faces the same type of coveredge that Dre go's up against the reason why fitz didn't have to many plays down feild was because warner didn't want to waite in the pocket so long for fitz to get open down feild.

warner had the 2nd quickest release this past season underneath brees.

I been using the titans lately but i been thinking bout going back to the eagles, wud this be a good switch. If i was the eagles, id use vick and throw quick screens and just scramble

i think you'll get more of a response if you post it in the madden section but to answer your question scrablers never really do all that well, contains, CB blitzes and things of that nature stop that mess then you'll be forced to pass with him and your not gonna win games passing with vick, i use mcnabb and sub vick in for designed roll out plays and designed QB draws, he's not even my backup QB i got kolb ahead of him but thats only cuz ima pocket passer but if your a scrabler then yeah go ahead and give it a shot.

that is a deffinet possibility, i hope he does, he deserves to be a number 1 QB somewhere.

the eagles sign a deal with FB leonard weaver that is rumored to make him the highest paid fullback in NFL history, also the eagles release LB will withespoon, the deal with weaver was not suprising i knew they wanted to work something out with im but the release of LB will witherspoon caught me a lil off guard, i would have thought they would keep him seeing as he played alright and didnt even have a full season with them, does this mean they will look to the draft for some young talent at LB? the eagles tendered LB akeem jordan to a 2nd round compensation level, they also believe with the return of gaither and bradley in the lineup they will be headed in the right direction.

neither do i, bradley is gonna be real nice back in the line up,the eagles have some real young raw backers but they got J.T. so if they did get a young backer they would have a vet. to help groom him, at this point i think all signs indicate the eagles are goin saftey or linebacker in the first round possible RB due to the release of brian westbrook but i think they'll get a FA or get a back in the later rounds cuz the RB class the year is DEEP!

Seems as if eagles are going to put in work once draft time rolls around.

they resigned trotter due to injuries to bradley gaither and others, im not sure if they released him when this last season was over but i think he'd be a great asset to have if they do look to the draft for a linebacker cuz he could coach'em up a lil, i think the D is a gonna be more solid with the return of bradley, i cant remember exactly but i thought he was there signal caller? correct me if im wrong on that, the last season bradley played IMO was almost pro bowl worthy hopefully he comes back jus like that, the eagles havent done much yet in FA except release westbrook, resign weaver, and release witherspoon, so is it safe to say there gonna be real active in the draft? i agree with fudgy i think there gonna put in some major work come draft day.

the eagles re-sign wide reciever jason avant to a 5 year deal, also the eagles trade wide reciever reggie brown to the buccaneers for a 2011 draft pick.

im glad they worked something out with jason i think he's come along very nicely, however with the release of brown it just raises more questions, seems like the eagles have done nothing but resign and release players, now they have maclin, avan, jackson, and curtis at WR, does this mean they take a look at a WR in the later rounds on draft day? they still have a lil linebacker and saftey dilema to worry about, these moves the eagles have been making are raising alot of questions, itll be exciting to see what direction they go in from here on in.

The Eagles have been smart they signed the 2 more important free agents to long term deals. We didnt need to waste money on peppers. The Eagles have 6 picks in the first three rounds every year they pull off trades an get players on draft day Ellis Hobbs anyone? Marlin Jackson im iffy on him im suprised no one has talked about trying to possibly get Nick Collins from GB. Or possibly Ken Hamlin from Dallas because they may release him. I think defensive end will be delt with in the draft. With Bradley coming back an Jordan being tenerded I think they'll be good to go I am anxious to see How Moise Fokou does this season he did well at the end of the season oh an the draft I forgot WE NEED A CENTER NICK COLE CANNOT BE A CENTER AGAIN HAHAHA

i agree man, the eagles have played the draft and the free agency period very smart IMO, im confident they'll get that DE, and im stoked to get bradley back doodes a beast, they do need to do something about that free saftey spot but they'll get it done, yea that center position is gonna be interesting to watch, i heard they signed AQ shipley, i think he's a 1 year out of PSU, maybe there lookin to someone besides nick cole for center? i really really just hope that jamaal heals up quick and come back but since it was so late in the season i dont see that happening but ima be prayin for it. also i heard rumor that they signed jordan norwood from PSU as well, he shows up on there roster but anyways i think philly is gonna put in some major work come draft day.

I just wished they wouldnt of let Dawkins go last year showed how bad they are an how vulnerable they are without him. I can't wait to see Ingram TE from Florida he is athletic an fast wonder if they might use him as a reciever. But come Draft the day the Eagles will had made moves last year they ranked number 1 in drafting an it wouldnt suprise me if they did that a second year in a row.

yeah it really is too bad we dont have dawk but ima always be a fan of his he's a rare talent and has such a passion for the game, but im real confident there gonna solidify that saftey position, i mean they were gonna look at marlin jackson he's played saftey im sure there gonna look at some others not to mention what they do in the draft.

the eagles general manager howie roseman said as of right now there looking to play him at saftey, but that he also holds value as a nickle slot defender, its nice to see the eagles make a move and try and adress some of the problems they had at saftey, i think he's gonna be a good fit in that defense.

Jackson said in the press conference im going to be playing FS for the Eagles. Meaning Macho has some competition its good even if Macho doesn't start sometimes its better to sit an watch other players as long as you have the attiude of working hard. Now we need A DE another corner an a linebacker because Mlb will Be Bradley Rolb will be Jordan who I like an left as of now would be either Gocong or Gaither which I don't like either Gocong is a a very good underated special team player though.

i think macho can learn from jackson so if he goes into it with the right mindset he can develop really well under him.

that blows my mind man! that would be totally great! but on the eagles side what do they do when mcnabb is done? i mean he cant play forever, i think they were thinkin that kolb was the future in philly and mcnabb was the right now in philly, so while having a 6 pick is beyond great you gotta wonder what they'll do, part of me says jump all over it! another part of me says play is safe preserve your young QB you've groomed for your frachises future, but that also brings vick into the eqation could he potentially be "the guy" in philly in due time? i dono all i know is that its lookin good for the eagles come draft day.
oh also just wanted to ask er'one do you think jackson's an instant starter or do you think macho makes him work for it?
