maclin needs to sign his contract first but the big surprise is going to be cornelius ingram 5th round steal big tight end that can move jump and has hands if healthy he will be very good

well its a good thing that maclin got signed hes gonna have a big year in andy reid's offense i mean can u imagine cowboy db's even having enough speed to catch up to curtis jackson and maclin ?! not even mentioning westbrook andd mccoy coming out of the back field ?!

Im excited for this season mann the eagles got so much talent this year and now its time to put on the pads and get it on

so what do you guys think about joe mays possibly becoming the starter at mlb?

he was a beast in madden ill love to see him in real life to see if his hard hitting stats were antwhere realistic cuz i love watchin big hitters playing

mays needs to work on his zone coverage, whenever i see him play it always seems like he is trying to be everywhere at once, when he just needs to stay focused on the middle of the field.

Well its about that time again. Its nearly
football season. Time for the 2009 Philadelphia Eagles first pre-season game vs. the New England Patriots. Each week before each game we
will have a pre-game thread just like last year and they were very
successful. They will be playing the New England Patriots in week one
of the pre-season. The 4 pre-season games are the biggest tease in all
of the NFL but, we take what we can get.


We will see our pass defense tested by Tom Brady (perhaps) and the
potent offense of the New England Patriots. This will be the first time
we get to see what the passing defense will look like without Dawkins.
Not to mention we will see Joe Mays get tested as well.


This will also give the Eagles a chance to test drive their new
offensive toys against a young and talented New England Secondary.


I cannot wait to see the Eagles in live action again, and we're on the home stretch to the regular season. Go Eagles!



What are you guys expecting to see in this game?

Injuries have come in bunches thus far! Sucks about Stewart, this was going to be his breakout year!

cant let injuries hold us back though, besides joe mays is really talented and is a HUGEEEEEEE hitter

i bet mccoy will play alright..but it is the pats D...there run D is sick...but if he can do s*** against them..when westbrook is done..he will be a star no doubt

Vick's signing with the Eagles was a total surprise!

And they benched mcnabb one game last year for kevin kolb.. I would jus say job security isn't their for mcnabb anymore.. He's gona have to play well cuz u know vick is gona come back and work hard... 2 year deal means vick has time and if mcnabb plays shitty during parts of the season not this year but next year they won't hesitate to give vick a chance..

yea this does not have mcnabb worried he is a guranteed starter but he will step his game up a lil

i have been an eagles fan my whole life and am very happy to see this many people as dedicated as i am. my dad and i would always watch the games together and get into huge arguments about mcnabb (i always backed mcnabb). sadly, my dad passed away this april, so i won't be able to have those arguments anymore, but if the eagles go all the way, i know my dad will be the happiest guy ever, wherever he is now.

eagles are about to sign TE tony curtis (used to be on the cowboys)

this would be a nice addition since ingram is out

i guess that would make sense for the eagles org.

he is a pretty solid option at the te position
