| Seems like I can't never user pick. I would get in position and press Y and it does nothing most of the time. What am I missing? What is the best position I can user my guy to set it up for Interception? Also Am I sppouse to hold Y or tab it repeatly? Do i have to be facing the QB with LT button for success? | |

| Not at all, I usually don't press LT to get in position because of how this game is designed with players having eyes on the back of their heads, I just press why and hope to see somin run down.
Also it depends on who your player is, if for example your controlling SS Troy Polamalu, than you are more likely to get an interception than another player for example Lawrence Timmions.
Experiment with it, try Ed Reed or Polamalu for picks.

| User picks seem to be pretty easy now. I was just in a game and got a user with a 70 speed bum DE 50 yards down field. lol | |

| i think more importantly than letting go of turbo is using L2 to strafe and/or make your defender face the ball.
you know, it all depends on the coverage, but i dont think many people get user picks using man coverage, unless the QB lobs it up and you have time to switch to your guy.
but people get hella user picks in zone, like me. my method is....
i user the MLB or SS (most of the time, but really it matters on the play, i like using a guy in a hook zone) and as soon as the play starts im holding L2 and i strafe IN THE SAME DIRECTION as the receiver coming into my zone. while im doing this im glancing at the QB, cuz as soon as i see him starting to throw, im ready to hit triangle, or Y in your case. once the receiver is about to pass my zone, i have to make a decision to follow him or find someone else to defend. so i look at the rest of my defense and if someone is close by i let them pick up the guy i had, and i start running (let go of L2) to get in the passing lane for the next closest receiver.
here, i think i made a clip of how i jumped a route, all user. i think i used cover 3 for this, but it might have been cover 1.

what i did was faked like i was going to the flat zone to cover AP, i noticed AP wasnt going to the flat so i backed up. at this time i realized that my opponent knew he could hit AP because i had him covered and that he had another receiver open coming into my zone, that particular receiver had beaten his man. so just knowing that the 2nd receiver was open, and the best option, i knew the pass was coming, so i jumped the route because i was confident that was the QBs best option at the time and i need to take it away.

| straffing is the best way to get int's.
get to the spot, position your guy near the bottom of the red circle. and hold y.
you gotta have a feeling of when the ball is gonna get there too, that also helps.

| one way to get an easy pic..bring some pressure..Force the ball to be thrown before its suppose to be...When the alll is going deep..Dont move your CB until the is basically there..If you move him you can either jump to early or you will be off target for a the int....Now i play with my SS and FS..But i stand in the middle of the field..basically a 4 LB in a 4-3 set....And just prob the middle... Read the offesen before you react..man control either your LB or SS,FS..Take those 2 steps press LT right when the ball is snapped...And if it is a pass just drop..if it is a run...Blow that S**t up..Lol | |
