CHARLES WOODSON FOR D MVP IS BULLSHIT

i wouldnt have argued if it went either way bcuz both of these guys were playing solid this year. But you have to remember its all about making plays in the NFL and Woodson clearly won in that sense. you don't win defensive MVP just bcuz you shut down number one receivers... they are already supposed to do that, thats why they are the number one corner on that team.

why dont cornerbacks like Quentin Jammer win defensive MVP? hes just as capable as the best CB's in the game when it comes to man to man coverage. its because he doesnt make a lot of interceptions or sacks or forced fumbles... he just shuts down WR's.

So im not really suprised Woodson won the award... i actually thought he was the one going to win it.

theres always going to be bias as to who wins what... like this years MVP Peyton Manning.

that makes alot of sense cause woodson has taken alot of picks back to the house, i think his toal is 9 or something like that

revis has had 2 very solid back to back seasons. i would have given it to revis b/c i feel coaches draw up diff. packages for woodson to get the sacks n things like that. but im not mad woodson got it. i just think revis is more deserving.

Charles Woodson is the defensive player of the year because of stats. If i was a defensive coordinator and had to chose between Cahrles Woodson and Darelle Revis im taking Darelle Revis. It dont really matter who has better stats. On paper the packers had the best defense but Kurt Warner lit they ass up. They had the number 2 defense with the defensive player of the year and Kurt Warner still tossed for 5 TD's and NO INTS!!! You would imagine that they would have shut Arizona down but that wasnt the case.....of course if you go on stats butif you go on actual stats, they had no chance in hell in stopping the Cardinals.
