They won't beat the COLTS or possibly even the Vikings.

I would have to say the Chargers are the best as well. Their team is on fire right now.

There is a good argument that the Cowboys are the best team in the playoffs.

Defensively there coverage crew is locking it down.
There mlb's are stuffing the middle
The olb's are getting to the QB
And there front line is giving up nothing

Offensively Romo is managing the game well
They can run the ball
They can go over the middle
They don't turn it over
They spread it around maiking it hard to cover
They have a lot of weapons

I am not even gonna address the Charger issue
Let's take a look at the Vikings

They have not been the same defensively since EJ Henderson got hurt, especially Jared Allens production.
They have weapons offensively but they are not the powerhouse that the Cowboys are.
AP has been fumbling lately
But the biggest question I think is Favre
He is a gunslinger, Brad Johnson has held him in check this season and he hasn't turned the ball over as much
Will that continue in the playoffs, I am not sure, Brett kinda likes to do his own thing.
If he tries his old gunslinging ways on the Cowboys, he will get intercepted
Jenkins, Newman, Hamlin and Sensabaugh are just too good.
If Ware and Spencer get to him, I think he will turn it over

IMO, the edge goes to the Cowboys

The Vikings are weak at secondary and having problems getting pressure, especially with EJ Hendersons injury. They cannot be the best team with a poor defense.

They do not have the recievers to go deep on Dallas.

They will have to establish the run and take the short passes in order to win. They can do those two things, and if they do they will give us problems. They also have a good special teams man in Harvin and of course AP is dangerous. As well Favre is having a great year and gets the ball regularly to Shancoe. Brooking cannot cover Shancoe, so we will have to bring safety help.

If the Vikings do these three things they can win.
1. Percy Harvin needs to give them good field position.
2. Adrian Peterson needs to have a good game and not turn the ball over.
3. Favre needs to get the ball to Shancoe regularly.

As well I look for Favre to take a lot of underneath to AP on screens and check downs.

Bernard Berrian established him self as a deep threat last season he caought all their deep passes.

Sidney Rice has proven him self this season he can be a deep threat.

saying u r the best team in the nfl means nothing because on any given day any team can beat anyone...i think we can all agree the steelers r better than the chiefs...did it matter?not at all...regardless of who is the best, it means nothing...it doesnt matter on stats or anything...all that matters is who plays better fb for those 60 minutes...nothing else

Ya, I'm gonna say it again just so you know.

The Vikings cannot go deep on the Cowboys.

But that is known around the league. The Cowboys have a great cover 2 shell and it is hard to go deep on them. But you miss the whole point of my post. First off why would you gameplan to go deep against the Cowboys, they are too good. So you have to gameplan for there weaknesses, which I illustrated.

The Vikings will have to establish the run and take the short and over the middle passing game in order to win.

the vikings can go deep on any team and they have. im still not sold on the boys but, if they can pull it off then good s*** by them. and good win by them vs. the eagles

Let me break it down a little further.
Brett Favre will not run, that gives us one extra man in coverage. The Cowboys can get pressure with a 4 man rush and that gives us another man in coverage. Now we get down to how the Cowboys play defense. They generally run 2 Deep Zone, man under principles. That allows us to play hard under and know that we have help deep.

The better matchup for the Vikings is to bring in Harvin in the slot, now we have to bring in Scandrick, that is not a good matchup for the Cowboys. Another bad matchup for the Cowboys is to put Shancoe on Brookings side and Brookings cannot cover Shancoe. And of course AP has been getting more receptions in the screen game and the check downs.

I can't say the Vikings won't try to go deep because a lot of times the game score and down and distance dictates what you are gonna do. However, I will say that the Vikings know that deep is not a good matchup for them.

So you're saying that the Texans are more of a deep threat than the Vikes because Schaub has the most yards? I guess that means Miles Austin is more of a deep threat than DeSean Jackson. I guess Wes Welker is more of a deep threat than D Jack too.
