Shotgun 5WR Bunch In and Under
a) No Adjustments. Snap the Ball.
b) Look for the Left Inside WR. His route will not get jammed.
c) Wait for this WR to make his break up field, and then throw the ball.
d) After you throw the ball, take control of the WR and go for the Rocket Catch.
This play is great against a defense that is using the bump and run.
Shotgun 5WR Slot Quick Flats
a) Hot Route the Far Left WR to block.
b) Motion the Slot WR (Left Inside WR) to the right.
c) Snap the Ball
d) Look for the Slot WR that you motioned, his defender most times his defender
will pause for a quick second. Your WR should get wide open.
If you do this too often, you opponent might decide to manually cover your man.
Shotgun Bunch Flanker Drive
a) No Adjustments. Snap the Ball.
b) Look for your Inside WR on the right side and close to the Offensive
Line. His route should be unjammed.
c) Before he gets up field, throw a quick bullet pass. This play is good for a
quick 6 yard gain.
If you use this play too often, and if your opponent is a smart player, he can manually
guard this player.
Shotgun Bunch Hi Lo Option
a) Hot Route the Right Inside WR (next to the offensive line) to a streak.
b) Motion the Right Middle WR to the right. Wait for him to set.
c) Motion the WR back, when he gets in front of the FL WR, snap the ball.
d) Both these WR should get off the line unbumped.
e) Look for the Middle WR and throw a bullet to him.
